Great value pub with the best views in town – the owners couldn’t have done enough for us. Will always remember our last visit, was a bit of a pilgrimage after a fond visit years ago. Will be back! Thanks for the hospitality.

If visiting a pub that resembles something out of a hammer horror then this is the place for you.It's situated in an old victorian manor house that looks as if it has been squatted in. We were on holgates caravan park had a walk down to the pub weather good so sat outside good beer prices the pub is a big old building probably a hotel at sometime
