Just spent a week at Holgates at Silverdale, and it was faultless. I was in my touring caravan, pitches were fine, didn’t feel overcrowded, not a fan of stone chips but see the reasoning. The food in the restaurant at Holgates Holiday Park is all cooked fresh-to-order. It is not pre-prepared and frozen. The range of food on offer is excellent, in both the range of food on offer and the portion sizes, with a childrens' menu, a Lite Bite menu and a full-size evening menu.
