We had my daughter's baby shower here on Saturday. Everything about it was delightful. The afternoon tea was gorgeous, best quiche I've ever tasted! Staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend and at £15.95 the afternoon tea is great value for money.

Whilst i was there yesterday i had an encounter with the chapal spirit, it was about 3,05 pm and i was sitting down to my earl grey tea and custard slice i had been sitting there for about ten minutes when all of sudden i felt this sudden TAP on the back of my head but when i looked around there was nothing there, about 10 mins later it happened again but this time a member of staff saw me suddenly rise from chair and asked was i alright, i explained the this lovely woman what had just happened and she then told me about the ghost, she said this place is haunted, i have never expierienced that sort of thing before, although i was not afraid at all it was more of a playful gesture, funny thing is ive been going there since 2002 BUT THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD EVER SAT DOWN INSIDE, love;y place lovely staff , cant wait to go back.

The staff are really helpful and friendly, we ordered 2 full English breakfasts with hot drinks and they were really hot and freshly cooked. (no black pudding though), It's dog friendly and you can pay by card, a real bonus.
We will definitely be going back soon.

I love this place. Beautiful inside and out, lovely food and the staff are incredibly helpful. Recommended to friends who had a great afternoon here as well
