I love everything about Tufties. The whole experience of getting your hair done or having a beauty treatment is always fabulous-as are the hot chocolates made by Katie! They have a growing number of treatments available and give you helpful advice about which to choose.I would highly recommend to anyone in or out of the valley.Services: Body waxing

Went for a manicure and gel polish! Well that?s what I was booked in for! Quick file, pushed my cuticles back and a quick paint! Rough edges and polish to the sides of the nails is unbelievable! No communication from the person who carried out the ?manicure? , apart from mind the step when going up the stairs! Receptionist was really nice , when I told her, I knew I wasn?t booked in for a full soak and scrub but if that?s a manicure with a gel polish for £28.00! Certainly would not recommend and will not be going back! Nails isn?t even listed as an option! Thankyou for your reply. Yes I fully understood what I had been booked for, however I have to state that it is not the issue of just the cuticles but the rough edges and varnish to the sides of the nails. I have had to get the nail file out to tidy up the edges. Unfortunately I cannot come in tomorrow as I am going to an event. Thankyou for the offer of booking in to remove and refund.

I Normally hate going to the hairdresser's... Mirrors... Lights... Ugh. Also, I usually have to fiddle with my cut once I get home... But not this time ? I love it it's perfect. Thank you x

So I visited Tufties today, I did an online booking, and I booked in with sky, as she did my daughters hair a while back she was very good and attentive, so I thought I will book her for me. Turned up and it wasn't skye that was doing my hair it was a young girl, which was quite disappointing as nothing was mentioned to me. The young girl was definitely not sky as she said she's only been working there for 2 weeks. Seems to me if your not a loyal customer, you just get whoever they give you, which is such ashame as they're quick to take your money but don't book you in with the stylist you paid for. To be honest I left the salon without a great experience, the stylist didn't even straighten my hair and didn't even ask me if I liked my hair is there anything else i would like doing ect. And to make thing's worse, she decided to thin my hair which I didn't ask for, and once I got home it's not even blended in its like she's been hacking at my hair for fun.I've had a better experience at Nigels in Blackburn.Service: Blowouts
