Only one member of staff was busy with a customer I did not have time to stay might aswell close the bank down if they are short staffed waste of fuel and time why did they close the nelson branch ?

It would be an okay branch if they set up a cafe with free tea and biscuits, for when you're waiting to be served, there were 10 people waiting today, another 2 gave up and left, and a pregnant lady gave birth and was collected by the ambulance before anyone got serviced. Seriously now, this branch is a joke and has been for a long time 10+ minute waits are normal, 28 mins today before being seen, and there were at least 10 people waiting. Time to move banks

Three stars for the location, being only five minutes from my residence and having a large number of branches compared to some banks now. However, the service here has been hit and miss. There is one paying-in machine; the counters are closed, with one or two people standing welcoming customers (some) into the branch. There have been occasions where I?ve had to wait up to 15 minutes to self-serve. I addressed this one time with a representative who tried to encourage me to use the app instead. I came the other day to be looked at on entering, no greeting, then as I waited in the queue, three others walked in and got welcomed. Not sure what the selective levels of service were about. Branch also isn?t open for long enough; Mon-Fri 10 am - 4pm is poor.

You go into the bank and all the counters are closed Staff direct you to a self service machine. It has become most unwelcoming. Opening hours have now been reduced too so I can't get in on the way home from work any more either.

Went to the bank today on bank street Rawtenstall, the new manager was really helpful, she helped me use the machine to pay in cash. She was really friendly and attentive. I?ve been with this bank for 17 years never had an issue

Unfortunately this bank has gone just like the others where there is no staff and it's all do it yourself , no personal service any more it's pathetic. Closed my account and moved

It'd be nice if someone occasionally answered the phone - I cannot acheive what I have to do using their online banking (as the recorded message keeps saying) I need to speak to a human being, it's about time you realised that not everyone has access to on-line services / internet banking (like my 87 year old mother) and I need to speak so someone in the branch!

Had to travel out of town in order to speak face to face with a member of staff due to being blocked from online banking and unable to get through on the number given.Went to the Rawrenstall branch. Only 1 person at the desk, so a queue had formed.Another member of staff going down the queue asking what help was needed.Seen within 10 minutes, taken into a booth, met by Sakinder, who was extremely tolerant with me. Couldn't rectify the problem imitially through no fault of his. He was extremely patient and kept going with me ( I was ready to throw my phone ) . He wouldn't let me leave until the issue was resolved. Nothing but praise for the patience shown to me. Thankyou and thankyou for getting me back on line. I would never have achieved this via a telephone call !!!

Poor. They just want you to do everything through using internet banking. Only one cashier station open. What's happening to the personal touch. I don't want to deal with a machine rather talk face to face if I have problems
