I wouldn't normally leave a review for a convenience store, but I received such excellent customer service on my last visit, I felt management deserved to know! I was served by Chris, who provided an excellent customer experience. I was met with a welcoming greeting, and he continued to chat to me, while maintaining fast and efficient service. This is the best service I have received from Spar Rawtenstall, and I'll be sure to return more frequently in future as a result of this!

This Spar is never open at the published opening hours. went in last week and there was no one in the store at all despite being open. Went in again today at 6.50am and the attendant told my wife they didn't open until 7am, hours on google say 6.30am. Not sure whether it was just a lazy shop attendant or they have changed their hours as we have previously been in and bought food for work at 6.45am without any problems.

Very convenient store with good selection of products. Can get extraordinarily busy sometimes due to it being a petrol station, Subway counter, parcel collection point, lottery terminal and having a cash machine. Staff always friendly though and efficient.

Friendly staff and a nice variety of produce. I use it quite a bit as it's in a decent location and i often find my self passing it.

Pretty good, could do with some vegetarian/vegan food available in the freezer section and fridge. There's no shortage of meat products, which is fine but there's a serious lack of vegetarian/vegan friendly products. This would make this store way better.

Good all round shop. Petrol station, off license, subway, and all the usual medium size store stuff. So near so spar.
