I have been buys building materials from wicks for years, use to go to B&Q when we had one in Preston. recently bought tiles for my bathroom. When i went in to look for them they had them on sale two days later went to buy them they put it back for full price. Anyway bought them because needed builder van which i borrowed for the day. Now went back to buy some more tile adhesive and same tiles back on sale. How ridiculous, are the playing hide and seek! 2nd soany of them are bent, honestly speaking last year i bought tiles a lot cheaper from an online supplier and they were much better quality.

Majority of the time they have everything I need and if they haven?t they will order it.
Very good car park with plenty of room, stars very pleasant and are they to help if needed.
Overall a very good place to shop ?

All wickes are the same. Except the staff.
1st visit to Preston branch and the staff had a certain buzz that made a change.
Lad on the till was great. Full if chat.
Cheers guys.
I have come back on today Friday 11th July after a visit to Bury branch.
Wow what a difference.
A bearded staff member with Napoleon syndrom was the exact opposite . Unhelpful. Abrupt and frankly enough to make me walk out.
Not going back there anytime soon

Poor service today. Paint charged for and not in stock. Claimed to have completed my order then returned two paint. Making me wait for a refund for an item they claimed online was in stock. Places the online click and collect on Sunday at 2pm and they had not even picked the order at 10 am Monday when the store opens at 7am. I won't be returning to the store.

I like Wickes. Straight forward click and collect for building materials other retailers don't stock (like Toolstation/Screwfix) at reasonable prices... Nothing not to like really.

Big thanks to Neil on kitchens who gave us some great ideas when doing our design. Also great communication all the way through. Well done!

Got visit it today, to buy some bags of mortor mix, the staff and ladies on counter are very rude, customer service is very bad. I was with little kids but they didn?t care about it, didn?t help for anything. Worst experience
Overall the shop is very nice

I bought some water based gloss paint and I would have been better off using milk. If you need a quick cheap fix it's not a bad place. But you get what you pay for.
