Went in to get a copy of rugby world (well any rugby would have been good) but not a single copy of ANY rugby magazine! plenty of fly fishing/skateboarding/fell running/NFL etc etc but not rugby....I'm gobsmacked ;(

Used to shop in here for my job things never again wanted a Amazon gift card to get some things off Amazon can?t authorise internet scams you have just lost another customer WHSmith Preston city centre never will shop in your shop again I?d rather use the cleveleys one nicer staff in there

I would love it if WH Smith spent some money on their stores; they all seem so dimly lit and outdated.On the up side... the staff here are great; very helpful and always pleasant.

WHSmith is a store you find on the high street in pretty much every UK town or city, this is pretty much the typical WHSmith branch right next to the entry to St George's on Fishergate St in Preston city centre. The product range and prices are pretty much what one would expect from WHSmith, a little overpriced and the drinks selection seems lacking but the selection of newspapers and stationery is amongst the best in Preston centre, if you don't mind paying a little more. The store could be better maintained, a small refurb and improving the damaged flooring and lighting would work wonders. The store still seems a little dark and hasn't been renovated as fully as many other WHSmith stores. The store does shut at 17:30 Monday - Saturday, compared to a good number of other stores nearby that stay open until 18:00, It's a shame they do not open for this extra half an hour as they are already shutting quite early anyway. 3*

Went in today and was served by a lovely lady called Tina. She was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that me and my partner left with the product we went in for, when we first walked in and saw the product wasn?t on display and we were about to walk out she said oh we have some in the back and went to get them for us! 5* service what a great employee ?

Went to drop off a DHL parcel. Went to the man on the till who told me that it was handled by upstairs staff but upstairs was shut; he didn?t bother to do it himself, call another member of staff or even help me in any way. Fair enough if it wasn?t possible but at least put the effort in to help your customers to find an alternative rather than blanking them. Ended up going to Deepdale instead who were more than happy to help and accepted my parcel without any issues

Despite being open during Covid-19 lockdown, the upper sales area was cordoned off even though there were only 2 to 3 customers in the store at the time of my visit and so I could not fulfil my shopping needs because of the store layout, instead visiting another WHSmith branch with a different layout to buy the same products!
