I got scammed and the bank fraud team never even contacted me in any way it was a great amount was told that the money would be returned to my bank account by seven o clock but never was so back on the phone again and was told to be patient so I told them I will be taking it further which I will be doing never been so upset about this

Poor branch
Unhelpful branch manager (Andy?) that doesn't want to know, doesn't want to give you the time of day. Can't wait to get you out the door. Branch never answers the phone, impossible to speak to anyone / get anywhere / book an appt. Came into branch recently and was fobbed off, told to call up to book an appt. When advised I had been trying to call, every day, for weeks, Andy admitted they never answer the phone? and I should ring a call centre. I shouldn't have to ring a call centre to contact my local branch. Opening hours are useless for anyone that works full time. For a branch that always appears empty and with majority of customers using the self serve machine, it's pathetic you can't speak to a considerate human being that wants to help over the counter.
Must add - having been into the branch in Preston town - staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and having called the Chorley branch (in desperation to speak to someone!) spoke to a very helpful lady.
Really puts Andy and his Bamber Bridge branch to shame.

I'm giving it 3 stars for the Preston, bamber bridge branch, because it's pointless opening at 10am and closing at 4pm.
Most businesses only get the opportunity to put money in after this time.
The bank is basically open when people are least likely to use it.
Instead of 10 - 4 it would be better to open 11 - 5 or at least 10.30 to 4.30.
This will be another branch that will close soon, due to lack of use because of the afore mentioned points.

My card stopped working in shops, but worked on cash machines. They said they sent new card, but idiots blocked curent one. So i am not able to pick up cash till new comes. And now they asked id prior to give me cash. Worse bank.

Went in to deposit money & one of the staff tried to spark up light conversation about the riots & ilegal immigrants.
Admittedly I do have a skin head so I can understand her bemusement when I didn't whole heartedly agree with her. All the same if you're going to employ staff with those kind of views at least tell them to keep their opinions to hushed conversations in the local pubs like everyone every other bigot in the village.
(Also customer service lines useless, hence.....)

I have been trying for hours to actually speak to a customer advisor. The phone number listed simply makes you go around the houses and then cuts you off . There is no opportunity to speak to a human being at any stage. I even tried the chat feature 25 minutes still no reply. Awful service I will consider closing my account after being a customer for more years that I care to remember. Automation has its plave so do real people when it's not an obvious scenario or question being raised

On a main thoroughfare with no dedicated parking but roadside places available. Small compact building with a few till windows to serve you. Staff friendly and welcoming.

A few months ago I went into the branch at 4pm (as they're open until 5pm on weekdays) to request over the counter cash (as I'd had to report my card lost). They told me that the counter closed at 4pm and they couldn't give me any money. What's the point of being open if you can't give out cash? I just wanted access to my own, hard earned money. However eventually after much pleading on my part, the bank manager was able to telp me on that occasion. Today TSB have blocked my card due to unknown debits/fraudulent activity. Therefore I will be going back to the branch today to try and get my own cash over the counter. I hope to ascertain how and why there's been fraudulent activity on my card. I will update my review/star rating later after I've been in today depending on what happens! Hopefully it will be positive.
