What amazing food best meal out in a long time everyone should good food was cooked perfectly and the pasta was better than any Italian restaurant the duck was outstanding and the staff was lovely 10/10

Thank you for a lovely evening with superb service and fabulous food. I had the mussels in white wine for my starter then the Lobster Thermidor and my husband had Pate with warm crusty bread followed by Steak, mushrooms and the tastiest double fried chips ever!! We so wanted a dessert but we couldn?t eat anything else.
Highly recommend, this is our second time here and we will defo be back soon.

What a dump, food was awful, service was the worse and the place lacks sole.
Owner/manager has a chip on his shoulder and has no interest in business. All he wants to do is go outside and smoke. BTW he reeked of cigarette smell. Don?t waste your time or money at this establishment.

A really nice place just off the main street so can be a bit more quieter, but has a nice and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating indoors and a few seats at the front. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food and drink is really good ? ? with plenty of choice. We had four good meals and would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely bit of lunch here today and took advantage of the great 50% off deal they had on. Chicken on the kebabs was beautiful and the black pudding was cooked perfectly on the stack. Mussels where not quite to our liking but all in all a fab little lunch trip and will be back to try the main evening menu. Good friendly service and lots of wine choice.

We had the lunch menu yesterday and everything from the food, service and environment were excellent. It is highly recommended and we well definitely return as the restaurant boasts some very good offers every day, particularly on Sunday with two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30!!

Visited today for our team lunch. we sent a pre-order in as we were on a time limit. Everything was ready shortly after we arrived. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. the waiter was friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. we will definitely return

I went to a restaurant with my family to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. The food was great, but the overall experience was very poor, especially due to the customer service.The first waiter was excellent and very helpful, but things went downhill from there. We had a small conversation that led to a complaint from another customer. This customer, a middle-class gentleman, asked us to refrain from swearing. I was taken aback because I was not aware of any profanity, although my wife apologized.We were quietly enjoying our meal when we asked for the bill and paid. However, we were immediately asked to leave. When we asked for a reason, we were told that they had enough and then told we were to be escorted from the premises. I found this treatment insulting and refused to be led to the door, insisting that I would see my family out myself.My wife called around 10 minutes later to complain about the treatment we received. We felt that because of one person's complaint, we were treated poorly compared to the other family. We were initially advised that we would receive a full refund, but then 2 minutes later, we were told that we would not receive a refund as they thought we were someone else. This was very concerning.The chef's skills were not reflected in the poor customer service. It's a shame that they prioritize one customer's complaint over others' experiences.

I have been dining at Theatre Street Restaurant for many years!Anyhow, I went last Tuesday for tapas with a couple of friends and it was faultless. We had 3 tapas for £14.95 (could have been £12.95) but all was perfect with extremely attentive service x.
