Went recently on a Sunday afternoon. I opted for Sunday roast lunch, to be told they had run out of chicken by 1pm! The alternative was beef, which I don't eat. I chose a vegetarian dish instead, It was well presented and I had no complaints.
The pub was busy for a Sunday afternoon.
My main issue was the noise. Various TVs around the pub, not all playing the same channel and volume FAR TOO LOUD. Staff need to be more aware of the environment. This was a Sunday, not a Saturday night. Pubs, and especially those who serve food, should be relaxing and enjoyable, unfortunately this wasn't. I can't commit to going back in the future.

Always good food and a brilliant time at the guild. Our server (not sure of his name but had a shirt that said Rusty and had a lanyard on) did a great job during the busy service.

Fabulous pub, kid friendly, didn't eat but what I saw looked great.
The bar manager was fantastic (Karen I think!!), service brilliant.
Shame I was only passing through.

Stopped by for lunch with daughter. Breakfast roll with a choice of 3 fillings all in - delicious. Best combo I've eaten & tasted in years. Good value.
Rusty & bar staff so attentive. Gemma the Chef earns her title of being a Chef. A cut above bar food I've eaten lately. Smashing.
