Called in Tod’s for a latte £4.85
Tasted awful thought the milk was burned at first, drank less than half a cup £4.85
So, got an Americano (milk separate) £3.85
Figured out it wasn’t the milk, it’s the bean’s .absolutely awful taste and a long lasting after taste. Big money for such a poor product. A lot of people will be told about this unfortunate visit to Starbucks capitol centre Preston today 1st November 25

Why does it require a waiting time of nearly 5 minutes to put a piece of small cake onto a plate because a delivery order comes in when you have 6 people behind the counter?!? Organise your staff better and maybe get whoever is taking orders to hand cakes, cookies etc?. over when they pay. No organisation and when I had to ask for my item 3 times apparently the customer is the issue. Standing with my coffee already made and going cold and all I?m waiting for is literally a piece of cake to be put on a plate and you have 6 members of staff behind the counter and somehow that takes 5 minutes?!?

Lacking in customer service skills, stood there over 5 minutes not an acknowledgement from the person behind the counter, not a smile or I'll be with you shortly. Then another colleague comes to the counter to serve me and never even spoke! Just stood there waiting for my order. Took my money no thank you, no communication at all. Staff training desperately required!!!

The place is filthy, cups left on tables, the toilets an absolute disgrace. Ladies sanitary bins overflowing & placed on a shelf at head height (I?m 6ft 2) in the unisex toilets. \nLots of staff, of course hiding behind the counter messing on mobile phones! This place doesn?t have a drive thru, so no excuses whatsoever to ensure tables are cleaned, cups collected, half eaten food removed from empty tables, a damp cloth to wipe them over & my god, the bomb site of the toilets are addressed! \nWe walked out & went elsewhere for a family cake & coffee meet! I didn?t fancy having to need my tetanus jab being renewed. Really disappointed, management needs to get a grip of this potential gold mine!

Terrible, you pay a fortune for a coffee and they can't be bothered cleaning the toilet nor spend anything on refurbing, just look at the state in the photos. MUST DO BETTER. I'll go back to Costa, at least they clean the toilets.

Just been into the Capitol centre and a lady serving me (the only lady with a Hijab on) didn't even say a word throughout the transaction. Absolutely disgraceful customer service especially when I am purchasing one item for over £20. No wonder people don't go in so often

Coffee was good but staff were totally lacking in customer service. Not at all friendly, no smiles or eye contact, just doing the minimum job and no more. The hospitality industry is about the whole experience even if it is just coffee and a snack. Sadly lacking at this branch.

Tables where left we old cups on. 3 staff on, and one tidying up or cleaning tables.was in for 30mins and the staff where not busy and not at the counter to serve would not be going again. Place looked a messy
