It's a decent Spar with friendly staff but I ordered an Amazon parcel to be collected from here and they refused it due to being too large. Surely they can pre set a maximum parcel size they accept in the first place. It was a medium size parcel. Back to Amazon, wait for refund.... order again.

Was staying local for a few days and this Spar only 5 minutes walk away. Very friendly service, smiles and chat. Visited twice and same experience. Ladies you were a joy to meet on a wet Sunday. I recommend this well stocked Spar (and post office when Royal Mail opening times apply) for all you need at reasonable local prices. Parking outside.

A good selection but they say they are open from 7am to 10pm, they are not. Been a few times well before 10pm and the door is shut and the lights are all out in the back. Get there early if you need something.

The post office is a joke, they open and close when they please, don't stick to their opening times, also its shut often on Saturdays coz someone perhaps cannot be arsed to come to work

Small store but packed full of dry, fresh & frozen foods as well as many non foods. Great selection of beers and spirits and always great deals to be had. Staff here are all fantastic and friendly. Only 4 stars as the post office counter is closed half days Wednesday. As a local business sending parcels, this is a real inconvenience. Otherwise a great convenience store.

Bought a milk with expiry date 01/09/21 today, took home and gave to my children. To my disgust, the milk was gone off! It's disappointing that they sell items like that which could easily cause food poisoning. Buyers need to be careful in buying perishable items that are nearing expiry date. Haven't had such experience in other supermarket. Not SPAR again.

They have used the space available to accommodate covid restrictions. Staff friendly and helpful. Stock is plentiful and post office services available.

It's always been a good Spar I think, well stocked, clean and friendly but during this pandemic, some of the staff have gone power crazy, blunt and bossy! It's embarrassing and I think they please themselves a bit concerning consistency of opening time, closures, Post Office closures.The Covid layout is messy, people aren't sure what to do, or what to expect from this place.I was speaking to a lady outside and she felt exactly the same.Bad attitude.
