Absolutely rude & unprofessional staff. When we asked staff for help at the till, they swore underneath their breath. Then they solved another person's problem first before solving ours!!!!

They need some sort of alert for when people are queuing at the front because there is an almost zero chance of any staff manning the tills, so you'll wait an age to get served.

Surprisingly complete for a local mini market, saved me many times when the supers were closed. The Argos pickup was smooth here, too. Had one experience in which they could only accept cash, but not their fault and they had it sorted the following day.

Difficult location for the business. Bit grim in atmosphere. Bananas ? seen a better day... Saturday am early..best thing here is friendly helpful Security guy from North of border...saw poor guy an hour later earning his crust dealing with 2 unbelievable looney customers! A loyal Sainsbury's customer from Scarborough...just needs better fruit supplies.

The new self-service tills are like everything else in this country, they don't quite work as they are supposed to. They don't register that you have placed an item in the "bagging area" and refuse to scan anything else until you have placed the item (which is already in the bagging area) in the bagging area. Who designed this - similar tills function problem free in Tescos and M&S.
