and great section of headphones phone chargers
chargers and everyone was kind and friendly
And my dad had a very lovely experience there today at poundland preston

This was a brilliant shop to stumble across in Fishergate, very glad the Poundland outlet has remained open! Aisles are easy to find for different products and staff serving were friendly, appreciate that the man at the till was supportive of cash too. Haribo selection is very varied and I went for the Harry Potter sweets, these are nice although the flavour for ones like cola isn't as refined as other attempts.

The only genuine thing about the name of this shop is that the currency is pound sterling. Very little sells for £1 or close to it. Many products are in excess of £5 and the product selection is very poor with them only selling upmarket tools like screwdrivers that only a professional would use instead of just a normal Philips or flathead screwdriver for £1 that an average person would use. Many products on the shelves have no prices listed and many products are out on display damaged, just trying to find a washing up bowl that wasn't smashed was a challenge.
Amazon is a lot cheaper than this place, it's just become another argos sadly.

Nothing is really a pound, but most times buying something have to get replace or refund defects.
