I had an issue with setting up an account via the app, called customer service and was told to go into branch without the need to make an appointment and they would help. When I arrived at the branch in Preston (not my local branch but the only one that was open at a time when I wasn?t at work), I was told I?d been given the wrong information and I would have to sort it via the app.
I had travelled a way to this branch and I was frustrated to have wasted my time, which I expressed to Malika at the desk. Even though I was obviously annoyed, she was very professional, apologised, and told me she would try to resolve the situation.
She and Becky, the branch manager, dealt with my request in a different way and ensured I was compensated by the bank for the inconvenience. I was contacted through the stages of the complaint, handled by the branch manager.
I can?t praise them enough. Customer service at its finest.

Possibly one of the worst experiences we have ever had staff are untrained the customer service is the worst staff constantly interrupting asking for keys scruffy looking untidy no name badges no eye contact nothing we made a appointment last week to be told we had no appointment unlawful activity that was not authorised from the staff member do not trust this bank we have had to make a official complaint to the head office about this once we left the bank after almost 2 hours and no further on we only went in to add my husband to my account and had to walk out halfway through we have banked with Lloyds for years what a mess get your staff retrained in customer service you don?t deserve to keep our retirement money from the minute we walked in and I saw him the rudest man I have seen and dealt with should not be in this role this man is often in leyland and he was so unhelpful and dismissive stay clear !!!!!

We need stamp on bank statement for visa, but they not agreed to for that. Very bad experience. No recommendation.

I had a really disappointing experience. The customer service was extremely poor?staff were unhelpful. The waiting times were long, and even when I finally got to speak with someone, they were not friendly or accommodating. It felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. A bank should prioritize customer care, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. I wouldn?t recommend this branch if you?re expecting efficient and respectful service.

Shocking that the whole of Preston has just one branch left in the most inconvenient location.
You really need to start looking at customer service rather than the bottom line. After all we are the ones that allow you to make your hundreds of millions profit.

As a customer I do not expect to have questions barked at me without any common courtesies. Perhaps the Teller whose first language is not English could receive some Customer training.

I dropped by asking how to set up a brand new ISA account on a website this afternoon because the website could not let me go further after logging in. The lady sitting in the counter said I have to download their App but I don't want to do it. All she said was either download their app or call their servers team. I could not even get an appointment face to face to solve this problem. She was very unhelpful and not friendly at all.
It looks like it's very difficult to get help setting up a brand new account in their branch.
Very poor service from the counter staff today at about 2pm to 3pm. The service was good but seems to have gone down a lot. Not recommended this branch to any one. If you are welcome to poor service that's for you.
Feels like they are not welcome to any brand new ISA account.

Useless bank, card is always declined for online banking. Doesn't even give the option to verify with the Lloyds app.

Poor customer service. Not interested in customer needs and kept quoting its branch protocol. Will now have to go to an alternative branch. Disgraceful. Will avoid this branch in future. No doubt the staff will be upset when it inevitably closes as we all get automated
