Wentworth in for some baked beans and got a inflatable wife from the middle of lidl. It washes up. Does the bed room chores but doesn't speak. Brilliant

The manager is nice and polite with both clients and staff in this venue unlike the ones in the other venues in Preston.
Aldi is cheaper on the same products but for DIY Lidl is good.

The variety and price are great as we all know, however since the introduction of the self service tills, the staff at the tills have been non existent. With only one member of staff the man the cash tills and self service tills, if one area is busy then good luck trying to get their attention. I understand cost cutting measures but reducing staff until there is only one is too far.

Nice store, well set out. Entrance could be easier no drop kerbs by disabled parking.

Do not purchase refundable items at this store. If I could leave negative stars I would. They were legally obligated to provide a replacement for a faulty item. This is the UK law however the manager of the day advised that they can't do that. Nor could I purchase a replacement item at the same cost. Useless customer service. Somehow they believe their policy is above the law. Will be reporting this further.

She had bad attitude!!! She didn't spoke a single word , when I asked her that can I change my bag she is giving her attitude!! I worked in a retail management as CEX manager before, I know how to treat a customer from the store!! But she didn't

Preston New Hall Lane Store.
The staff are more interested in speaking to each other, instead of greeting the customer with a "HI". They are always laughing and talking to each other on the head sets.
Once the item has been scanned, they expect you to put your items in your bag quicker than they can scan them. Once the item. Has been scanned, they just pile it all up due to there not being enough space on the counter. Can't blame the staff for that. That's probably how they have been trained. Clearly they don't get proper customer service training. One of the security guys is very very rude. I have seen him being confrontational on numerous occasions. Instead of diffusing a situation, he just inflames it. Its like he enjoys it, cause he's wearing a hi-vis jacket.
Fruit and veg is generally very nice.
