I usually do not write reviews unless it was a great experience or worst experience. But today I have to write review about the attitude of the staff at the shoe section on first floor.
I came to pick a few items for myself and after picking them, I decided to buy a shoe for my dad, he tried and liked one shoe. Wanted to get its pair and also I wanted to check if sizes available for other 2 options. Checked the store, the staff was busy with other customers and we waited.
I waived at a staff, I don?t want to write her name or how she looks, but if she read this she will understand I am writing about her. She looked back at me, and understood I need help, once she completed with that customer I expected she will come over to me, and she didn?t. And she was chitchatting with another staff near to the women shoe section and I had to go there and ask I needed help again.
Then she checked and helped and brought the shoes we wanted and without even showing both pairs straight away left it behind the till.
I wanted to buy one for myself after that, but she again went to come corner of the store and just stood there. Because of this attitude I didn?t wanted to waste my time again there.
When we went to bill the items, found out she brought wrong shoes. But the lady at the counter sorted it and finally we billed and came out.
So to her manager, please train your staff properly, I have worked myself as a customer consultant for past 8-10 years and easily I can tell she?s either not interested to do her job properly or she is not trained enough to understand what?s her job responsibilities are.

Came in with a friend, asked for changing rooms. The middle aged woman, 4 foot 11 perhaps, chubby with untamed hair, with a miserable look on her face huffing and puffing had assisted me like I was an inconvenience.
I tried on a pair of joggers & came out, my mate was stood behind her and I had asked for my mate?s opinion on the fit as mates do! This staff could blatantly see we?re talking and purposely stood in the way (awkwardly eye balling me) I had asked if I could get past in the narrow changing rooms aisle to show my mate the joggers. She?s rolled her eyes and blatantly sighed.
After taking them off and putting my own pair on. She?s asked me on way out, ?do ya want em or not?. I replied, ?no thank you?. Shes yanked the joggers out of my hand and walked off with it.
What a joke, I wont be returning here.

JD sports Deepdale has to be one of the worst shopping experiences ever. The staff are friendly and helpful but the music is so loud I can barely hear what they are saying. It?s like a nightclub, with heavy rap and thumping base. My monitor showed consistent readings of above 80 dB and regularly peaked at over 90, well above the 85dB considered safe under health and safety legislation. I feel so sorry for the staff who may well end up with permanent hearing loss and my autistic daughter could not stay in the shop. I won?t be going there again unless the music is turned down significantly.

It's jd. Cheap (ish). I've never really bought much here as I'm not a sporty sort so it wouldn't be fair for me to comment to much. Seem to have a fair selection of trainers and sports kit. I did buy a bag from jd once for my work kit. Had a name I recognised as decent from the 80's but it bust within a few month. Pay what for what you get!
