Sent me an email saying my order was ready and then sent me an email half hour later as my better half was arriving saying they had cancelled part of the order the useful part
Having to wait for 4 days for the item to be in and wasn't exactly helpful in temporarily solving my issue

Klaudia was really rude and inconsiderate. I purchased some ratchet spanner?s, that had clearly been used and the packaging seal was non existent. She was really rude saying they hadn?t been used and apparently a previous customer has opened them. She then started to huff and puff as she did the job she is paid to do. She needs some lessons on how to provide customer service. Absolutely shocking

I don?t usually give a bad reviews but today I?m gonna have to.
I had an appointment for refitting dash cam wiring and the guy he was clueless what he was doing and at the end he give up without fixing it he left the car in mass.

Booked in to get a chip fixed on a windscreen. They call to say no one is going to be in at that time (even though the booking was available online) and asked if we could change it to Saturday from Wednesday. We thought that should be fine. By the time we go to the appointment, the chip has cracked and now we have to pay 4 times the amount to get it fixed somewhere else because they don?t do the full thing. Absolute JOKE of a company.

Two of three items ordered where incorrect even though Vehicle registration used on there website, the items returned where listed as compatible would only fit models prior to 2010 no mention of that on the site ? they need to get there database fixed I had to go back and get a refund and I didn't get the correct items as they were 4 times the price for the ones I had purchased. Got the correct parts at Asda for £5 each. I have since closed my links with Halfords!

Don?t go here for windscreen chip repair! The small chips on my car windscreen looked worse. They made it bigger and filled in with something translucent so its obvious. I was hoping the chip which were like dots will be less visible. I see them now all the time. It?s a bad decision to go there to have this fixed.

I had an issue with the battery and attended to replace it, the guy wasn?t confident to do it and another staff pushed him to do it, the guy kept checking youtube videos while replacing the battery. I asked if someone else can check after him and another guy came to check and said everything is fine and I left. I started to have issues in the car bcz of the battery again so I went back and asked them to check they didn?t check and told me you need someone to check the electricity in your car its not something because of the battery or how it was fitted so I looked for someone to check and went with the car and I was told that there was an issue with the batter connections so I wasted my time and paid extra money!

Wanted a cycle rack so I checked availability on the Halfords website. According to the website there was a rack in a store 15 miles away. Arrived at the store only to find out that they didn't have stock. Waste of a drive!

I visited Preston Halfords store to pricematch and for the fitting of a nextbase IQ front and rear camera. At first the pricematch was declined from the nextbase website as I was buying two cameras but after a conversation with the store manager it was approved. So I was told the fitting would take place at 0930 and asked if I could have a 1000 appointment, this was agreed.
On the daybof fitting at 0950 the fitter phoned me saying I was 20 mins late of course I wasn't.
I left my car with the fitter and returned an hour later to find the fitter FAST ASLEEP CURLED UP IN MY CAR. No progress had been made 9n the fitting other than pushing a wire into the headliner.
I told the manager what I had found and he pulled out the wire and refunded me my money.

Fitted Road Angel dashcam, didn't work and staff happily removed and recommended Nextbase 322GW camera. All works fine except signage and number plates have to be within 8ft of camera, night time forget it you wont get any useful images for it to be clear enough to read!!!! No use to anyone.
Literature for product says it clearly records signage and number plates. I've been told it is what it is, if you want better by another better product. Not the attitude I expect after they recommended the product in first place. Complaints dismissed by manager who simply isn't interested or at all helpful. Staff told me waist if time trying to communicate with the manager as simply nit interested. Attitude is horrendous and unprofessional to say the least. Would never recommend Halfords services to anyone.

Disappointed?.
I recently purchased a pressure washer, I chose to get it from Halfords as it was the same price as Amazon but I like to buy elsewhere when practical.
All was good and when paying the salesperson said because it was such an expensive item he would include some free batteries? I didn?t need them but it was a nice gesture.
Next day I received an email welcoming me to the club? not something I signed up for but reading through the email I notice I get a £5 off if I spent £30? great? back to Halfords.
I pick up a couple of bits for my new pressure washer making sure it?s over the £30? but at the till this salesperson is unable to access the voucher? disappointed I just buy the one item I think I will need and go home? there I retrieve the receipt from the day before and see that the previous salesperson did not in-fact give me free batteries? he used the £5 welcome to the club voucher to give me something I did not need or ask for?
WHY
As I said, disappointed.

Was booked in for a chipped windscreen repair. Served by a most obnoxious woman who they'd check the chip and book me in. Had to point out I was already booked in. Wouldn'tet me sit in my car while the repair was to be carried out. She then left my car, engine running, keys visible, to go back I'm the store. She then tells me they've no resin left to do it. When refunding my money, she tried to under refund by £5. She offered to contact a different store for me but couldn't seem to manage a simple telephone call. I had to go back on line and do it my self. With her pamjamdrmic attitude she shouldn't be in a customer facing job. Halfords - you need to do better and hire better staff.
