Called here for best advice. Asked about dulux weathershield for my wooden front door and metal garage. Told it won?t do both. I questioned and said I saw online that it is suitable for both. Insisted it didn?t. Blow me down - went to b&q and here it is !!! Training needed !!
Also asked about a dulux emulsion colour. Said they had no brochure or anything for me to see so only thing is on my phone. He said my phone not representative of the actual colour but didn?t have anything to show me but if they mix n you don?t like then it?s wasted.
Also found the prices much higher than other places. Stick to other retailers. Wicks mix dulux and cheaper.

The service was second to none. Gave excellent advice on paint type suitable for front door exposed to mid- day sun.
Also highlighted colour can vary from finished sateen silk and high gloss. So l learned something.
Fingers cross l like the colour.

Great trade counter, wc,s, coffee machine, and efficient staff.
And they answer the phone when you call for information about stock.
Small carpark, which is free.

Great place for all your painting supplies, I went b and q to get a colour match, they could not do the colour or quick dry I wanted, went here as next port of call, it was mixed with no fuss and out the door within five mins, great service

Went in this store for a pack of wallpaper paste. Ignored by two of the people behind the desk. One interrupted another man trying to serve someone then ignored me!
Not impressed at their customer service at all. Went to wicks instead.
