We went on a sunday evening and looking at the amount of people and waiting tmes i would say they are overbooking. Alot of the food choices were empty and needed replenishing , alot of the dispensers for plates were empty and you had to queue to get food.
All in all an unpleasant experience and for the per head price there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from offering a better experience.

?A trip to an all-you-can-eat buffet should be a feast for the senses, a joyful exploration of different cuisines. Unfortunately, our recent visit to COSMO in Preston was more of a lesson in frustration, leaving us feeling disappointed and wondering if we would ever return. For nearly £50 for two people, we expected a much higher standard.
?From the moment we arrived, things felt off - we got told there would be a 25 minute wait. We were left waiting for a significant amount of time (40 minutes), watching with growing irritation as groups who arrived after us without a booking were seated first. This was especially baffling given the number of empty tables clearly visible from the waiting area. When we enquired about this we got told there's only one person seating new customers and she was busy.
?Once we were finally seated and began to explore the buffet, the problems continued. The floors in several areas were noticeably slippy, posing a genuine safety hazard. Around the food stations, the mess was a constant. Spilled sauces, stray noodles, and dropped food items remained on the counters for the entire hour we were there, suggesting a serious lack of attention from staff in keeping the areas clean and hygienic.
?The biggest letdown, however, was the food itself. Or rather, the lack of it. Many of the serving trays were empty or close to it and were not being replenished with any urgency. I waited an hour for the black bean beef to be refilled, but it never happened. It seemed that after 7 PM, the kitchen simply stopped replacing popular dishes, which is unacceptable for a buffet that is still charging full price. To top it off, the drinks machine was broken, leading to long, slow-moving queues at the bar just to get a soft drink.
?There were a couple of redeeming features. The decor is modern and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Furthermore, the staff we did interact with were friendly and polite. A special shout-out to Anya, who was professional and welcoming despite the chaotic environment.
?Ultimately, the few positives couldn't make up for the long list of negatives. The chaotic seating system, dirty counters, and, most importantly, the poorly stocked buffet made the experience incredibly poor value for money. We left feeling let down. COSMO has the potential to be great, but based on this visit, it has a long way to go.

Went here recently and had a great time. Food was good, as was the service despite it being a very busy day. I particularly remember Ewan behind the bar being very friendly. Would recommend for sure

Food was absolutely amazing, such a great place to go with friends and or family. Service was good and the workers were friendly and it was just a really good atmosphere. The only problem I had with COSMO was that if you don't book a table you will have to wait near enough an hour because that's what happend to me but that is also my fault for not booking but if you are going to come here definitely book because it's such a great place to come for a meal.

Great location , we were treated by Dean who instantly made us feel welcome. The drinks selection was great. The food selection was amazing
Everything was fresh and hot. The resturant was busy on arrival and there was a nice buzz and atmosphere. The staff worked hard at keeping everything stocked and cleared our plates efficiently. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and family. Can't wait to return ?

Don?t be put off at £21.99 per head, it?s actually worth it overall.
The beer tastes great which is a real plus, nice and cold too.
The food selections are amazing but that being said, The Steaks are fatty and the Beef Brisket should melt in the mouth but not here, it?s pretty tasteless and leaves a horrible feeling in your mouth.
The service is pretty good, s soon as you?ve finished a plate and head for more with fresh plates and cutlery, by the time you came back it had been cleared away.
The deserts are soooooo good, plenty to choose from and the ice cream is great, especially if you?ve got kids.

I found the food plates to be chipped and some where dirty there was food on the floor where the service areas are took them around 40 mins to eventually clean it up some of the units where the food is where in need of being cleaned
Considering its only been open a few months needs big improvements

Total rip off. Lots of sub standard food... its a bit like someone has popped into Heron foods, rustled up a party and cooked a bit of everything. A couple of the dishes were acceptable, but on the whole it is the very definition of bland. It isn't cheap too... I really dont understand the popularity of this place.. usually the meat station where they cook to order is better, but here the steak was tasteless and the prawns watery. The staff were nice enough, but honestly I wouldn't go back, rarely have I seen so much tasteless food in one place.

Had a wonderful experience at Cosco, Preston! The food was delicious, the ambience cozy, and the service truly outstanding. A special thanks to Mr. Shahinsha for his warm and attentive service ? he really made our evening memorable. Highly recommend!

New edit of my review. Photos were from 1st visit. 1st time was nice considering I went 1st week of opening. 3 weeks later I decided to pay another visit and the standards had dropped a lot. Around 7pm there were not much choices at the Chinese food counter, the only containers were rice, noodles and battered onions. The fruits at the fruit selection were tinned fruit. Some dishes had few bites in. Eventually when salt and pepper chicken wings came out I got some and they were cold, lack of seasoning and heavily coated in batter. I did leave a feedback on their website. Anyway a week later I go again and standards not changed. I was very thirsty after eating there. I have booked online for later date as a member of my family is Birthday but I cancelled online. Then I tried several times to contact the restaurant over the phone to make sure I don't get charged for deposit and no answer. After 2 minutes you get disconnected. So you can't get hold of them to enquire about something. Will I recommend this place? NO

The food is good, esp the Chinese food. The range is broad, with Chinese, Indian, Japanese Sushi, Italian Pizza & Pasta, and more, but it's not brilliant. £22 per person is about right. The drinks are good, and largely what you'd expect. Worth a try. Enjoy. Stu
