Came in today for some school shoes for my son who is non verbal. Colette was wonderful. You never know what to expect when you visit places with a child with special needs, but she was very patient and friendly and probably one of the best experiences I have had in a shop with my son. I don?t normally leave reviews but I had to today because of how lovely Colette was and how comfortable I felt from start to finish. I?ll be going back to this store for future shoes for my son. Thank you for being an inclusive shop and for providing a genuinely lovely experience for me and my boy.

Highly recommend asking for advice from Elaine ? experienced professional and insightful . On this occasion I didn?t buy any shoes as was in a rush , but despite this non sale was treated as a valued customer and consequently will return .

Went to Clarks Deepdale Preston on two occasions for my children's shoes. I am pleased to write that on both occasions we received fabulous customer service. Both customer service assistants were fantastics- Safwah and Maliha.
My little boy has extra wide feet and needed to be measured. When a size was not availble, I was given alternative options. It was also explained to me about the different sizing and they were very patient with me and helped me to understand (i suffer from anxiety and do not always fully understand things first time). They were also patient with my son who was very excited to be getting dinosaur shoes. I really felt at ease and very valued, hence my returning to the same store for my other child. Thankyou so much and please can you thank both Safwah and Maliha for their exceptional customer service. They were extremely kind and attentive, both with me and my children and should definitely be commended.
I would not hesitate in anyone going to this branch. You will be treated with respect, valued as a customer and provided with top quality service.
Shoes are fabulous and am grateful that you do extra wide in a dinosaur design as my son loves dinosaurs and we had been struggling to get dinosaur design in extra wide. So thankyou again Deepdale Preston Clarks!

Super customer service, went in to try on some shoes as I am between women?s and men?s sizes. Explained my situation and what I needed and was given lots of help, particularly from Charlie who was great.

Popped in for school shoes, we get clarks every year because the quality is brilliant and they last a long time, even with daily football play.
Colette was very helpful and knowledgeable about shoe options for my son?s narrow feet.
She also listened to my son when he mentioned one pair were uncomfortable inside, and noticed a defect on the lining.
Overall, great customer service and Colette is a gem. Thank you.

I've worn clarks shoes since school and I'm 56 unfortunately clarks arnt what they used to be as far as outer soles are concerned. Another issue is the variety of styles on display is disappointing and to learn it depends where the store is influences what they stock isnt always customer friendly. Staff were helpful and polite but a shelf with a few pairs of mens shoes isn't inviting and literally a 30 second scan told me they had nothing I was looking for (or at least a variant of the type of shoes I was looking for). You would think a simple slip on mens shoe would be an easy find.... Nope! Last but not least, prices. For the overseas quality they have nowadays, the prices are horrific. You can buy very very similar for less than half the price of clarks offerings. May pay to shop around.

Staff always seem to be having a meeting, with one or two others dealing with all the customers.Great shoes. Competent if bored- looking staff. Usually have things on offer to make it a much better deal
