Interesting to see from these reviews that the pharmacist is apparently rude to many customers, so my experience isn't an isolated one.

Saturday morning needed antibiotics for a UTI looked up Boots website said open at 9am. Feeling unwell got there for 9 to be told by a very unfriendly female staff member that the pharmacy only opens at 10am. She asked me what I wanted when I explained she said I didn?t fit the criteria and needed to go to Urgent Care! I thought the whole point of this was to save pressure on hospitals and GPs. I wasn?t ill enough to to go to hospital I just needed antibiotics and if no better would then see GP. She was rude and unhelpful and said nowhere else would give me them, so I just want to let her and Boots pharmacy know I went to a local pharmacist who after a consultation and advice given in a professional caring way gave me the antibiotics and I am feeling better. I would like a response to this I will never go to your pharmacy again I suggest you read some of the other reviews on here about rude staff and sort the issue out. People go to the Pharmacy for advice and help and with all the pressures on the NHS should be encouraged to do so.

Found store to be poorly stocked, badly displayed & expensive on my last visit. Prices were very high too, on a par with the local Waitrose.

Gillian and the team in pharmacy always make it a pleasure to go shopping there. Their professionalism, kindness and knowledge have helped me countless times. I cannot praise and thank them enough.

Visited here most weeks whilst out with my dog to grab a nice sandwich. A few weeks ago was my last visit. I walked in as normal with my dog, there are no signs saying no dogs an never has a staff member told me my dog could not come in store. As I approached the sandwiches, my lovely girly was being very good she never misbehaves in shops. I then heard behind me "excuse me there's no dogs allowed in here you will have to leave " I was leaving and noticed a man still standing in store with a dog who was there before I entered so had been there longer than I had , I asked if she targeted me as maybe she didn't like the look of me.(I don't dress in my Sunday best to walk the dog so I was on the scruffier side ) I then asked for a manager as I'd never been treated like this in store. She said she was the manager, I laughed as if that's the customer service of a manager you need to get rid . Ibeen visiting the store since around 2019 when I worked on the capitol centre. I've never been told I couldn't bring my dog in , no signs to indicate otherwise , and never told by staff at the checkouts that it was a problem. I asked for the "managers" name and she reluctantly replied Jennifer Wren . (Hope I spelt it right) I shall not return to the store while there is rude people working there . I could have even understood if she said some people may have allergies but my dog is hypoallergenic but at least she would have good reason. I'm sure there is a no smoking sign up on display . You should either display your rules upfront , or teach staff a bit of customer service. I know it was terrible as I have been awarded many customer service awards, believe me her attitude was bad enough that I won't return. There's plenty of places to go for a bite to eat an plenty of cheaper alternatives online for products. You think businesses would value customers as we are the reason you have a customer facing role .

Attended Pharmacy to purchase anti histamine, found the female assistant, Gillian rude in her manner and extremely unfriendly , as a clinician I would never treat my patients in this way. I won't be visiting again.

Went today for some Calamine lotion as I suspected my son had chicken pox. Asked the lady working on the pharmacy counter to advise (I tried to get a doctor's appointment but no answer, as usual!)
The lady went through his symptoms with me, observed the photos I'd taken, explained other possible causes that weren't as likely as chicken pox and advised me on what best to treat him with. Her product advice and knowledge of how best to make him feel better has really helped us. Both her, and the gentleman serving on the counter were brilliant and I can't thank them enough.

Went to look at the perfumes today in the store. Two members of staff were talking next to the perfumes. Only a select few of the perfumes were out to test, the others were locked behind the doors. I walked up and down looking at the perfumes and I sprayed one to try it. I tried the doors to see if I could test other testers, but the doors were locked. I looked over at the two staff members to see if they would acknowledge myself so I could ask them to open the doors, but they kept talking. I used their desk and pen to write down what I had tried, and I was still blanked. I walked passed them, even looking at them to see if I could make eye contact, but no, I was still blanked. Clearly their conversation was more important than their customers. Lost a sale and I?m not coming back to have poor customer service again.

Avoid this place the store smells of a bad smell and some staff needs retraining as they have no manners on how to interact with customers no I will not be coming here again.

Very clean, peaceful store, sometimes I don't need to say anything which is awsome ? ? I'm very happy with the staff.
