Visited deepdale boots yesterday for a change having used No7 for many years i always stick to what i know and just pick it up locally to fy5 , but yesterday was served by a lovely lady who whipped off my makeup and introduced me to some fab products and tips ?? no pressure to spend but with voucher and seeing different product results couldnt leave without them x big thankyou for your time and patience .

The store is clean and well stocked. There?s higher end makeup counters as well as more affordable makeup brands, all which looked good and well stocked. The aisles are quite small which is hard to manoeuvre if there is more than one other person in the same aisle. The tills are all self service which I don?t love, it feels very distant and no chance to speak to staff unless you find them throughout the store. The lady that worked on the self service machines needed to approve an item I was buying. I said hello to her but she didn?t even look at me let alone reply. I followed by saying ?thank you? when item was approved and she still didn?t look at me. It felt a bit cold which is a shame as usually when I go to Boots stores, the staff are always friendly.

I stood in the perfume section for 5 minutes and none of the 5 ladies approached me, instead they stood in a circle and laughed, hey boots maybe you can do something about it

Always love looking around Boots, it's like a breath if fresh air, don't keep buying on line, get out there, keep our shops, or do you want them to keep disappearing off the high street. I know i don't.

Fantastic service!
Went in looking for gift inspiration for Christmas was helped by Ella on cosmetic department. Ella very attentive and full of information was very helpful helped me pick out some gifts.

Awful experience on self service tills. Staff member basically accused us of not paying. She could see us struggling with the rubbish system but offered no help even though it was quiet. Boots has shut near us and not a small store. When you no longer treat customers respectfully they go elsewhere. Do my Christmas shop here usuallybut no longer. Dont need the hassle.

Boots Preston Deepdale ,awful service waited at a till for ages , then when it got to my turn the woman who was tall with dark hair in her 50?s suddenly said oh I?m not supposed to be serving , why could?nt she say as I was queuing for more than 15 mins terrible customer service . Terrible place not friendly. Please go to Lancaster or clitheroe, where I live , never being treated so awfully, and I have always supported Boots . Shame on you Preston deepdale ?

What an awful store this has become. Well stocked and got exactly what I wanted but so disappointed with self service tills where one girl was running between customers with variety of beeps from non customer-friendly-system. Also lack of staff around store to access stock( scent locked away) I exited feeling very stressed. Have never used Superdrug , as have always been happy with Boots, but will not return here unless this changes back.

It?s soo bad because they accused me of robbing and kept staring at me and my friend and we wouldn?t ever got back there we were only looking at makeup and skincare and they kept looking at us and then they called security guard and kept on coming to us

Had exactly what I went in for, however is now totally 'self-service' which seems to struggle accepting loyalty cards & payments so needed assistance - like everyone else again the tills at that time.

I went recently to buy some new face washes and was looking at the inkey (I think I said that right). Whilst I was browsing the products I had 2 staff members 1 either side of me blocking the Isle. I assume it was because they thought I was about to steal the products. They were so close to me that I couldn't even browse in peace. Bare in mind I have a basket of products I want. The shop was close to empty. Couldn't have been any more obvious what they were doing they were ready to pounce on me. I won't be returning il be buying online in future.
