Popped in after purchasing a few auto repair items from a very nice shop down the road. Had tea and toasted teacake for £4.40. Both were perfect and served with a smile. Plus the teacake was ready buttered. So no messing around with hard butter inside fiddly packets. Took a while to take the photo because the seats were previously occupied. Then they quickly filled again. There are tables outside, but it?s probably too cool for most people.
Back again after buying 30Amp fuses at the spare?s shop. It?s a nice day and I thought about sitting outside but decided the probability of smelling tobacco smoke was too high and so sat inside. No such luck avoiding it as smokers subsequently came along and sat at the table right outside the cafe door. Maybe the smoke can be avoided if choosing tables at the back.
21/08/25 Here again as this is becoming a favourite. But once again the smoker at the door is spoiling it. There is plenty of other outdoor seating, but they sit next to the open door!

Awesome place, im sure Elaine makes the best cheese scones at level prefect on textured bite, although not sure I've had all the staff make me one.. best cakes I've ever had.mm watch it .. il get fat

Fantastic place for ice cream, cakes or just a hot drink. All very reasonably priced. Took my granddaughter and had lovely memories from when I took my daughter's there.

Popped in between my bus shifts and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are so attentive and helpful and the Latte and the Amazing egg Custard was out of this world. I will definitely be popping in to sample some more cake delights. Toilets very clean too well done guys ??

This is one of my favourite places to be. The coffee and food are superb, and the staff are second to none. I just walked in with my pram to find there were no free tables, and one was brought out especially for me. You can't get better than that ?
