Staff when found are helpful.
The store is laid out in a rather cynical way, forcing you down the food isles onto the numerous ?sweet isles? where the crowds gather to load their trolleys with calories - and the odd person opens wrappers and consumes in plain sight. There isn?t an online stock check system and the store one isn?t too helpful either. Some items are cheap for sure but other are on or above normal prices.

BEWARE OF USING THIS STORES CAR PARK!
This used to be my favourite local B&M store. I've not been in here for years and after a recent medical appointment that left me a little shell shocked I decided to pop in to get some last bits of Christmas shopping for my family. I spent quite a long time in the store browsing and distracting myself from what I'd just been through and trying to get through the day doing something distracting. This was just before Christmas- today I got a letter in the post with a fine of £90 for staying longer than 1 hour on the car park! I never saw any signs advising about a time limit to shop there and 1 hour is nothing for such a big store especially if its busy! I'm absolutely stunned. Now I've got to find £50 in less than 2 weeks or will have to pay £90. I find this shocking - I'm a single mum going through the worst time of my life healthwise and barely able to feed my kids and now I've got to spend £50 - £90 of money that should be going on food, gas and electric for my kids to pay a fine thats completely unjust! I will never shop in this store again. I've appealed the fine to no avail as the company G24 have just sent a heartless response back demanding I pay the fine. People are struggling to feed, clothe and afford basic items and companies like this are leaching money from the poorest of all to fatten their pockets. There should be BIG CLEAR signs in the carpark and at the entrance of B&M to warn customers and i feel an announcement should be played in store every 15 minutes to not only advise people shopping of the terms of the carpark but advising about being fined if you soend over an hour on it. Thanks alot B & M I now can't feed my kids or heat my home this month.
