This is our go to local chippy. The food is superb and the staff are really friendly. They do a great meal deal too. Since going here, my 4 year old says he wants "chippy and gravy" every night!!

Been for a first time and wouldn't go back.First hey should open the door there, coz barely able to breath. ( I used to work in chippy so know what I am saying), second in kids meal amount of batta on fish was ridiculous , two bites of fish really, third all paper stuck to the fish and chips, very greasy. The best thing was curry sauce.Defo not food for me and my family, none of my kids rreally ate it, most end up in the bin.

Tried this chippy today for the 1st time has we're not from the area and the food was lovely. The owner and his good lady are very nice. As it was close to closing time they gave us a free small fish and a sausage. If the owner reads this we enjoyed our tapas night ? thanks again.

Piping hot and delicious Fish & Chips(Flapjacks was closed the people on holiday) and this was my alternative eatery today, an excellent choice.The fish was fresh and melted in the mouth, the chips are awesome too.Excellent staff even mentioned The Ship for great food and views.Finished off with a nice cappuccino and now back to work!!The owner has been there for over 20 years, an excellent place to visit and eat ?
