This is worst bank i have ever faced in my life terrible customer service. Closed my account for no reason and it's hard to get my money back .. I highly recommend please don't open account with this bank if you do you will be in trouble...Thanks

Dreadful staff. The actual manager (pictured) gave the middle finger to a passer by after he pointed out that he could see customers details from outside!!! Appalling!!! As shown on the YouTube video by UKMTT.

i was seen by a male employee on the first floor who I found to be very rude and belittling towards me. I felt that he was taking advantage of me as I am a young adult, and I do not think that he would have spoken to an older adult in the same way. Additionally, while I was waiting to withdraw money, he began discussing things about the matter to another colleague whispering about it.I was disappointed with this behavior and found it to be unprofessional and unacceptable. However, I would like to commend the ladies who spoke to me, as they were very kind and helpful.

I have banked with Barclays for over 40 years. My local branches in Horwich and Chorley have closed. I have never encountered such rude, unhelpful staff anywhere. As an example, I needed to get a new cheque book. I was told I could order one from the comfort of my home. When I tried this, I was told it would take me over an hour to get through. The other staff I spoke to weren't interested as I don't do on line banking. I will never enter your bank in Preston again.

Jade, Shareen and Wen Qian were extremely helpful and lovely to deal with.It's a shame the Branch/Bank itself is focussed on reducing the amount of person to person interactions (eg no cashiers, but lots of do-it-yourself machines). It's also impossible to make an appointment without having to either visit in person in the first place, or go through the call centre and be sat on hold for a while!Some very frustrating experiences but the staff are great to deal with once face to face...

Banked with Barclays for over 20 years but recently service has been very poor. Final straw was when I went into my Preston branch to open a child's savings account with my child. Was told you can't open accounts in branch only on video chat via the app. The Bank was empty and she wouldn't even offer to book an appointment. It was video chat or no account! What's the point of a branch if you can't even open an account! Went to Halifax and arranged an appointment in branch with them, so much simpler and far more polite.

I came in this morning to pay some money into my works account and was aware of a woman sat near me but not in the queue who seemed to take an instant dislike to either myself or who I was working for and was muttering abuse about me to a member of staff called Sharon I found this absolutely bizarre that Barclays would allow someone like this in their bank who obviously has some sort of issues going on being allowed to verbally abuse customers. The lady who I presume was this Sharon was lovely and polite so not sure what was going on. I?ve tried to ring the bank but can?t get through
