Visited twice now, hadn't realised this was part of a chain. Which has lost its allure a little. The fish and chips were great, and the mini dessert and a hot drink were the perfect finish.
The wonderfully friendly locals, who gave us money off vouchers was really nice (kinda hoping they'll be there every time!)

We had a party of 22 people and I can't complain about anything. The service was brilliant, especially one of the staff members (unfortunately I didn't know her name) they couldn't do enough for us. Even the emails prior to the booking was excellent. Kept me informed and we pre ordered so on the day it just came straight out.

Had a lovely meal here.Service was first class. Main meal was lovely. Unfortunately, ordered an Eton Mess for dessert. It was dreadful. A mass of fresh cream, hardly any meringue or fruit. Totally overpriced. I did complain, there was no follow up ? was a little fed up that my complaint wasn't addressed.

Lovely little pub, a regular stop for us after walking the dogs as it?s dog friendly. Never been let down by the food or the ale, atmosphere is friendly & service excellent. Couldn?t recommend highly enough!

Fran behind the bar is super bubbly and friendly. And attentive. Naomi, Annie and grace. We?re really good considering it was a really busy shift, they were all amazing. Would recommend going in.

We randomly popped in here after feeling hungry travelling from Glasgow to Birmingham. I?m so glad that we did. The food was amazing! I had classic fish and chips. Chips were perfect, chunky, crisp, light and fluffy. The fish was the best fish I?ve had in a long time. Highly recommend and I?m very sad that I?ll probably never visit again as I don?t live in the area

A reasonable place that is feeling a bit neglected. Nice enough food, but a bit overpriced. Service was good. But the place looks run down and the fact that there were so few customers in on a Saturday night spoke volumes. The place was empty. It should be a nice local place with people travelling for food, but needs the investment to achieve that. Having said that, we had a nice enough evening there, but felt I had paid about 20% too much.

Mia & Jess are an absolute gem to this place, they serve wonderful and wide selection of food & drinks, there are many seating areas with different vibes, that will definitely suit anyone!
