Went to see the pharmacist for a throat infection. I arrived at 9am and had to wait over 20 minutes to be seen because the pharmacist wanted to sort out the morning deliveries first. I was expecting basic antibiotics only to be told that it was infected, but not enough? I was given a throat spray which didn?t help at all and had to suffer a long weekend of being in pain, unable to properly eat or swallow. My throat is now ten times worse and this ruined my weekend away in London. It was clear I was just being fobbed off.

Only one member of staff at the counter despite a long queue. Then despite the article being on the shelf they didn?t have it in stock. Poor service.

Nice friendly staff who are always happy to help. However they need to do better with prescription meds. Normally wait a couple of days or over to pick up repeat prescriptions, however still not done when attempting to pick them up. Don't have or don't have enough of one of my medications and have to return most times (not obscure medication) this is frustrating. Once is ok but not every month.

Couple of times not had sufficient quantities but provided what they had and got the balance a couple of days later. Other prescriptions and service, I cannot fault, even at peak hours.

First time using this pharmacy and received excellent service from Mark, one of the pharmacist. He saw me at short notice, almost closing time and was very sympathetic. I was hoping for antibiotics, but he advised the walk-in centre as the infection looked bad. I'm very grateful he did as the infection needed draining. Thank you Mark for your time and concern.

The new Pharmacist is brilliant. Went in, had a through and friendly chat, came out with a prescription suited to me. Better than most GP visits I have had!

Very rude chemist, on shift on Saturday 1st June at 5pm. Was not willing to listen to what the problem was or look at the ailment and refused to offer any options. Based on my symptoms I know I likey needed Brolene eye drops or antihistamine eye drops but refused to sell me either. Very unpleasant experience.

I get my prescriptions from them, you sometimes have to queue but that's because they're so busy, the staff are very helpful.

Being on heart meds, blood thinners and various other medications that are prescribed for important health related issues, I find it very hard to believe that I have been in a few times to pick up my prescription, and asked if there are anything else to collect from previous outstanding ?owed? items, and to be told ?no? I thought I would just make sure today, as I am low on all my important medications!! Also, my GP asked me if I received a specific medication he had sent over that I needed to take twice daily !! I informed him that I never received it in my prescription. He seemed quite bemused, as if I had told him a pack of lies ! So I went to the pharmacy and lie and behold, here was the ?said prescription? from the end of August that I had supposedly received and to be taking daily due to a DVT in my carotid artery !!!Even though I had asked previously about my prescriptions I?d been told there weren?t any outstanding, and yet here today, a huge bag full !!Cheers Well !!

Changed to this chemist because of problems with Carleton but this Chemist is worse, every month I have to chase up my husband prescription. They are supposed to deliver but so many times I have to walk into Poulton to get it and its never ever ready. They simply dont seem to care if you have run out even when its been ordered over a week before you need it.They need to get there act together otherwise they will lose tons of customers.
