If you are planning to queue for the post office, take a deckchair. When finally served, the female staff member was utterly clueless. I don't need to send an email to customer relations @ spar to reiterate the above so thanks for the generic reply, but no thanks.

Asked for their cheapest 50g of tobacco, the shop assistant told me they dont know, they dont smoke! SEROUS lack of customer service skills. Take your business elsewhere!

Huge variety of food and goods for a ?local? store. Plus it has a post office inside and a Texaco garage (only place I have been where you can pay for fuel at self serve tills inside).

Things are never priced correctly. Shelf says one thing and the til says another. I?ve lost count of how many times I?ve told them of things being priced incorrectly and I go in the next day and still incorrect. It happens so often that I can?t help but think this is deliberate and they just hope people don?t notice when they are buying multiple items. Will start using the Coop more from now one.

The actual Spar shop is ok and the staff have a difficult job juggling petrol, grocery and post office duties. However, the on-site facilities for car care really let this place down - hence the 2 stars. The car wash and hoover bay is filthy, poorly maintained, often doesn't work correctly - not giving sufficient time for the money paid. I rarely complain, but contacted the local manager and he failed to acknowledge there was an issue or suggest any solutions or improvements. I get the feeling he's not interested in the opinion of his customers.

Very bad experience while waiting to post a parcel at the post office counter, 4 people served before me in the shop area when I ask can someone serve me please I was told by the male I would have to wait for the female, she carried on serving people from the shop area once again I said I've been waiting quite a while now, to which the female behind the counter shouted for all to hear, you will have to wait. Six people had been served before me, I walked out in total discuss. Why advertise having a post office if you can't commit to serving the customers. Customer service 0
