Nice outdoor seating area, greeted well but waited a long time for order to be taken. Food wasn?t great, my friend ordered fish and chips, the chips arrived like empty hard shells. Waiter offered to bring fries out which took half an hour. I order chicken shawarma, bread hard and not much chicken. Won?t be rushing back..

The best food and service we?ve had in a long time! The starter and main were lovely and the staff are so friendly. I would definitely recommend going here and we will definitely be back! Thank you.

Absolutely amazingly delicious food and service from the super friendly and helpful team of staff here. Never fail to exceed our expectations ( and we are very fussy where we eat). The pub has had the best glow up and is always clean and has a lovely ambiance. The star of the show is Carol-Ann! She is such a lively friendly character making time for everyone whilst rushed off her feet. She makes you feel like you are the most important customer taking time to chat to all. She is a diamond and makes the experience of dining here even better. Carol-Ann you keep being a superstar ??????????

Do not go here if you have allergies. The rude Scottish woman who appeared to be an experienced member of the team, took our order, made my partner sign an allergen form and assured him we could dine here, then came out 10 minutes later to tell us the allergens (dairy and soya) could not be accommodated. She allowed us to purchase drinks, a steak sandwich and chips before checking with the kitchen if this was suitable. We were offered a grilled steak or piece of chicken as a substitute, which is obviously different to what we were expecting. I completely understand establishments not being able to cater for allergies but I do not understand why she did not check with the kitchen first. This then had a knock on effect meaning I was unable to drink my cider as I required the food to aid alcohol absorption to combat any potential side effects. We were refunded for the meal but not the drinks even though we would never have purchased drinks if we could not eat. This was extremely upsetting for me as it was supposed to be a treat after a very tough 6 months with a difficult baby, which could have been avoided if the staff had of checked with the kitchen before ordering, like every other establishment has done when I?ve dined elsewhere. I am very upset how this was handled as the Scottish woman also made another staff member deal with the refund as she made it very clear she did not want to deal with the situation she had caused.

Was put in a corner basically forgot about we weren't the only ones
Waitresses walk round don't take orders
They ran out of menus
Had to double check food order again not the only ones
Food came quickly but on piping hot plates says it all really....
Cost. Well wetherspoons do the same at a fraction of the cost and much better service...

Called in here on the fly food was good, beer was good, staff were good.
Nice beer garden. Slightly unusual ordering system food and drinks are ordered separately. Would definitely call again.

Lovely place to relax with friends and a great effort by the staff who are all working hard. Food unfortunately was not that good for what is asked in price. The pizza was a little boring and screaming for some flavour and the fish and chips were not too good at all. The batter tasted old and it was dripping in oil and the chips tasted undercooked. Id definitely recommend for a pint or two but a meal, go elsewhere.

A fabulous pub and a rare option for a Sunday pub brunch!
We visited The Wayfarer because it was one of the only pubs we could find that opened late morning. The pub is massive, with a restaurant side and pub side all blending together, as well as some kind of on site brewery which unfortunately I didn't get to try this time.
The food was all excellent, and the menu varied enough that I could go back many times. It wasn't cheap, but wasn't expensive either, and I really felt the value for money in every bite.
Coffee was okay, but no latte art or any attempt at it. It's a pub though so I appreciate that's not really their focus.
Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and made us feel really special throughout.
Ample parking on site, and highchairs were available.
