What a meal.
We?ve just been for lunch and I?m genuinely blown away.
I?m not one to normally post but I had to drop a post on this meal. As much as I?d like to gatekeep this gem, it needs to be shared.
We just had the hanger steak on the lunch menu and Dan cooked this brilliantly. For a less known steak, the flavour and cook was phenomenal.
The veg was a compliment to the dish, and the chips to die for.
Lou served us and clearly showed passion for the food being prepared.
Honestly, 10/10, we?ll be back this week, next week and the week after.

The best food we've had in a long time. We arrived 10 of us. Having not booked didn't think we'd get in at 4.30 on a Saturday. Louise told us she would squeeze us in but we may have to wait a little longer for the food. The food was out within 30 minutes, piping hot and spectacular. Louise is fantastic and libby a credit whatever they all get paid would not be enough. Fantastic place and service. Definitely see you in the next couple of weeks. Thanks so much. The Wilson family.

Just had an excellent meal with my friend Kath,we changed our minds several times before settling on cheese & onion pie (me) and fish finger butty (Kath) both were fabulous. The pub looks great but the best of all was Lou who looked after us and was attentive, knowledgeable and just lovely.We meant what we said you can join us on our meet ups whenever you want ?

The moaning about the pub, not having any materials to entertain his under 5 year old children.
Thats your job mate. Your choice to have children, your responsibility.
Maybe try and find a crèche, that has a bar attached.

Food great as always but the service today was shocking. The staff not present, not very pleasant & giggling in groups, very unprofessional. We have recommend to others due to our previous experiences, different staff than usual in ver the past few weeks, who appear to not be interested in providing good service

Good food good beer good service good prices. What else can you want
Vegetarian options: Didn't check just noticed availability.
Parking: On premise and opposite side of road over spill.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's available rather than not.
