Friendly neighbourhood shop what a joke ! I've lived in ossy 40 years and the afternoon staff are the most unfriendly I've ever come across! Work in retail myself and they need a personality check up ! I hate going in but it's close to home

Absolutely awful experience I?ve had anyway on 17th June Sunday I went to the shop and went to the post office to post some letters, I had six letters three were normal 1st and three special delivery letters, at this point I need to explain that I send 100s of letters and parcels every week so I?m pretty much know about prices and how it works so I was served by a lady called Kate and I placed my first special delivery letter on the weighing scales and it was 0.31 kg and the I told her that the other 2 parcels are exactly the same weight and size and she processed the parcels and gave me a proof of postage.
Anyway I went back to the car and checked my receipt and what she had done was she processed the two letters as .015 kg and one 0.31 I then went back in and explained this but she said it?s fine and it doesn?t matter I said to her yes it does because if anything happens and the letters go missing there will be a problem if I need to claim compensation after arguing with her for at least 10 minutes I explained the letters contains money and I need the right weight on the receipt and then her and her colleague told me that you are not allowed to send money via Royal Mail special delivery as this moment I had enough and told her I want my letters back and had enough and walked out. Absolutely awful from Kate and the experience was very distressing for me.
I urge the manager to check the cctv and voice recordings the incident took place on Sunday 17th June at approximately 3.10.
I will be taking this further no doubt.

I?ve tried to use the post office in the spar numerous times to which have been greeted in a very rude manner .. as a business owner myself I would actually sack people like that .. very rude

It?s not only when close to closing time can be early in the day .. when one of the ladies I believe the manager has just slammed a board in front of me.
I won?t go in there again as there are much more pleasant staff in thriftys down the road .. no need to be rude cost nothing for manners
