I ordered a cornflake cake and it was very difficult to eat due to the amount of chocolate used. I'd describe it more as a chocolate meteorite which I had to batter with a rolling pin to break up. The other items I bought were just OK.

Staff are always nice, very popular so can get a bit crowded. If you want something go earlier then later as the food is top notch and goes fast.

Call in quite often. Sometimes there's a queue outside the door. That tells you it's a popular place. Staff are nice, friendly and good at their jobs. Food is good. Variety of pies, sausage rolls, butties, paninies, salad bowls and cakes. Butties and salad bowls are made whilst you wait.

Normally very good but recently service not been so great. Most recent visit i waited 10 mins after being served to be told they didn't have the ingredients needed for my order THEN on arriving at home I find some of my order wasn't even in the bag. A Shame as normally high standards.

My husband used to go to this shop regularly whilst at work and so as we were passing last week called in for a potato pie. Was it as good as he remembered ??? Yes. I think we will be "passing" more regularly as prices were reasonable and service was with a smile

The food here is consistently great. The presentation is clean and professional.In my opinion its the best bakery within 10miles, i always go here when im in the area.

Good value sandwiches and great pies. Lemon drizzle cake and egg custards are just brilliant. Sadly they rarely have enough wholemeal baps which I prefer.
