A very nice Sunday lunch, the service was very good. The busy grain road detracts from the front of the restaurant but the beer garden is very pleasant.

We came here for breakfast on a whim as it was on route to our destination. We had breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. Great quality food, and reasonable prices. The views also created a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try the main menu.

Honestly can say what a great meal we had to say we booked yesterday for a table for six no problem then I called today to ask if we could decorate for the table for my mothhers 60th birthday again no problem.The food was excellent and the service was 10 out of 10 well be back that's for sure! Proper food and really nice people the couldn't have done anymore! I recommend eating in the marquee somewhere lovely views from up there!

I was passing with my toddler and mother and it was definitely right place, right time.
Staff were attentive, patient and very pleasant.
Prices were good, choice was good and the meals were cooked fresh and to perfection.
The venue itself is well decorated, clean, facilities great and the view is fantastic.
What an absolute gem of a find.

Visited the Grey Mare Friday 18th July.
The service was a little bit slow, however it was well worth the wait.
The staff were attentive and friendly.
The food was excellent, very good sized portions and excellent quality. I thought it was very reasonably priced, paid £46 for two starters and main course, drinks a tad expensive.
I would definitely return and recommend the Grey Mare Inn

We ate in the Secret Garden - it was lovely and cool in the hot weather and very well decorated.
I had the steak pie and others had the Chinese chicken - everything was lovely.
Quick service and very fresh food, everything tasted quality and had plenty of choice.
