People rave about this place but something must have changed because it was terrible. The staff were mostly really nice but for one trying too hard to pretend to be pleasant and came across sickly fake. Chicken liver pate that was served somehow with garlic bread. King prawns in two courses which shouldn't be allowed to be called king prawns, quite simply, because they weren't king prawns. Two giant sized mounds of pasta came out with no seasoning, no cooking involved, no flavour. The tomato sauce must have been watered down passata or tinned tomatoes with no additional flavouring on supermarket pasta. Truly shocking. School dinner stuff, a child could have put this together.

Me and my family came here. The food was over cooked and tasted store bought. The car park was not even there's and wa hard to find a place. I when outside to have a vape and saw one of the staff members go into the restaurant with bags of pasta from Tesco. I asked them what are they used for and the staff said "it's for the dishes". Why can't an intelligent Italian restaurant make there own pasta which I could make at home for my whole family? Also there was 2 workers that was horrible. We had 2 children with us and they were cussing at everyone in the kitchen. This is not what a customer expects when this is supposed to be a family friendly restaurant. Will not return again.

Food wasn't good party of 5 most of us left most of the food and got a bite on the way home. Servers were really nice the calzone and pizzas weren't very nice pasta was OK.
Parking: Isn't their parking next door it's heron foods hard to park near.
Kid-friendliness: Wouldn't say it was child friendly some yelling coming from the kitchen killed the mood really.

Really good early evening meal. Scallops with black pudding, mushrooms in blue cheese, gnocchi with chicken & calzone with French fries. Gin and tonic, orange and lemonade, large glass of red, plus desert and coffees.

Late decision to go out for food and thought we would give Francos a go, staff couldn't have been more friendly throughout our visit. Drinks order taken, reasonably priced for a restaurant, looked through menu, Lots of choice. Husband had his go to dish of lasagne and I had farfella al funghi and shared garlic bread. Oh my days delicious, the pasta had infused with mushrooms and tasted amazing. Lasagne in his words was bangin! We will definitely be returning.

Food is amazing and have been many time, but personally found service really poor on my most recent visit. We were made to wait 30 minutes (no issue with this really) but when a table became available was not alerted. In the end left without ordering due to poor placement of table we were eventually allocated, as well as staffs attitude towards our query (about why we'd been left waiting). Smirks as we left, not nice!

We been for father?s day food amazing and so tasty . Staff and owners fabulous. All my 3 children have special needs and my youngest struggles sit table he so happy and calm and just stood watching guy?s in kitchen cooking and lot staff said hi too and answer his questions it made evening calm and we all
family enjoyed thank u again .

Last minute decision to go here for an impromptu meal... having not booked we waited about half an hour for a table,but so glad we did...the food(cajun chicken penne and beef tagliatelle plus a garlic bread n fries) was superb,hot and delicious.and at just over 20quid each(plus a tip) including a drink,really good value. Definitely worth a visit.

Myself and three friends really enjoyed our night out and didn?t cost us a fortune
