Did not have food. Nice bar and bar area. Staff polite and accommodating especially since the group i was with were a tickle loud.

We went to watch a band we follow , and a great pub and nice people , but two people spoilt it for me , the way they spoke to my wife , because we took our shirts of for a popular song they sing , we were told to put our shirts back on , which we did my wife is a very smart lady . we are in our fifties , But they swore at my lady and talked about her all nite , not sure if it was the landlord but his mate was out of order , there is a way you talk to people we are there bread and butter . So won?t be going again .

Was actually parked outside the Black Dog taking my dog to Emma's dog grooming. Excellent dog groomers and I am sure the Black Dog is a very good pub

Pleasantly surprised. The pub felt very homely and warm with a real coal fire.
