Had breakfast and thought it was really poor. Yes it's a nice setting but 50% of the breakfast was cold and streaky bacon on a full English? You only expect this in Spain! Not good value for money at all!

Scrambled egg came with chunks of black in it. I thought it was mushroom, my wife said it looked like sultanas in it, and sent it back. The replacement was slightly better but still black in it. Even if it was safe to eat, it looked suspect, and was obviously made in a burnt or dirty pan. Scrambled egg should be yellow and fluffy, they should have been ashamed to serve this!

Not dog friendly. Says it is but it isn't. Dogs aren't allowed in the cafe.I tried ringing the day before to check the cafe was dog friendly but the phone wasn't answered. Even after pressing one, two and three options (garden centre, cafe and accounts). When I told one of the women who worked there, she said there was no problem with the phone yesterday! There obviously was! Never again. I was also with my friend with her dog. We'd travelled all the way from Southport.

Had a lovely festive afternoon tea in the restaurant here today. The service was excellent and attentive and the afternoon tea was delicious. Must say that this was great value too. Would highly recommend.

Had afternoon tea yesterday and was very disappointed firstly they forgot soup then the sandwiches were not very nice bread was not very fresh and dry then cake stand looked nice but not so nice could not eat mince pie burnt and hard scone was ok couldn?t work out why there were broken biscuits very strange if we were last maybe they could of ran out of cakes didn?t like to say anything as it was a nice catch up with friends I have been before for coffee and cakes always lovely but wouldn?t recommend afternoon tea to anyone disappointed

During our visit to Warbrek Garden Centre, we decided to have our Sunday dinner at the restaurant. After getting seated, we ordered our meals from their festive menu. Two of us ordered the turkey dinner while the other went for the fish and chips and the salmon risotto from the normal menu.Unfortunately, the turkey dinner was dry with no gravy, overcooked sprouts, parsnips and carrots, and not-so-crispy roasted potatoes. The mashed potatoes were oddly textured and the stuffing with cranberries tasted strange. The Yorkshire pudding was a huge letdown as it was undercooked and flaccid. To top it off, the pigs in blankets were missing from the plate.Only two of us had dessert from the festive menu - one had an Eton mess, which had ice cream on top, and the other had a minced pie with a Bakewell topping, which was served in its tin foil dish without any cream or sauce.We will not be dining here again. Stick to the simple and safe menu.

What a delightful place. First visit today and was very impressed. Great range of gifts, cards, food etc and very nicely set out. Had coffee and cake in the restaurant which was delicious, definitely need to return for a lunch soon. Nice friendly staff too.
