Was served by Cole and my meat was carved by Layla, both lovely and were happy to help when I had questions. Will definitely be visiting Toby carvery ormskirk again!

We ordered a takeaway for 4. No stuffing arrived or veggie pie or a dessert. Quick to take your money but not to apologise. Don't order a take away from here!

Had nice food every time. Personally do not recommend going after 7 as it is usually the remaining food till closing and it can be dry

We went at Christmas and the food was awful but thought it was because they were so busy. Went again two days ago and had vouchers, the food was disgusting shrivelled and dried up, roast spuds burnt to a crisp, vege was watery, you could not get your teeth through the Yorkshire pudding, took the dog and sat in the bar even he wouldn't eat it and he loves a bit of meat and a Yorkshire. Never again

Understandably Mother's Day is a busy day for the restaurant, but this Mother didn't feel very indulged. We were seated in a room to the rear of the restaurant which was like a canteen, scruffy tables and chairs, no atmosphere. I appreciate that the carvery staff had many customers to serve, but the plates were cold, the meat and Yorkshires were thrown onto the plate like a conveyor belt. The cabbage was cold and unappetising, the collie hard, roasties were soggy, gravy cold and tasteless. The gravy counter was messy and there was food on the floor. The overall experience was disappointing to say the least. Would not go to Ormskirk Toby carvery again.

Booked here on line requesting an adult area.
Upon arrival we were shown to our seats in what appeared to be the children's play area although we are not against children we were out for a quiet Sunday dinner. We were told that these were the only seats available at that time.
We ordered our food and went to the carvery that looked delicious, wrong as having returned to our table and started to eat found that the food was luke warm, the hottest part of the meal was the stuffing and the gravy. My wife passed comment to the waiter when he came to ask the obligatory question if the food was alright and she stated that the food was not hot. We got a whispered rely such as 'Oh' with no offer to try to reheat it in a microwave or replacement.
The accessible toilet was being used by females as one of their toilets was locked and when I eventually got to use this I walked out in disgust as to the way some people live, having to go into the men's and struggle to use the facilities.
This is the first and last time that we will visit this establishment, I wasted a Christmas gift card on a meal that was well below standard and the waiter had the audacity to ask if we wanted our change. If I had left a tip it would be to make sure your customers are satisfied with your food and service,

Not been to a Toby in years.. I was early 20s last time so maybe a bit naive. Our greeting was great? Delivered to a table but having not been for such a long time was left feeling unsure on how to order/pay/collect food and had to go and explain and ask 'how it works'. Drink were prompt. Meat was nice veg maybe a bit over cooked. Atmosphere was not bad.. Tuesday afternoon, big venue, oldies getting lunch etc.. some background music would've maybe distracted from Janice's toy boy or how they don't use textbooks in school but it was some light entertainment if nothing else. Wheelchair accessible, clean environment no major gripes and would visit again
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible as far as could see. Disabled toilet and no steps throughout.
