shit. Staff are rude not sure what the woman was called but she was blonde in her 70 maybe 80's. I didn't have id which was fair enough, but my friend who was nipping in with me, was finishing off her drink, and the bartebder started screamung after my friend apoligised politely and kept her voice down. She started making a scene afterwards. Not only was she very rude, but tge place stunk aswell. Very unhygenic

If you're wanting to visit and are apart of the lgbt+ community don't bother the owner made it very apparent he doesn't car for them when he singled out my friend

Absolutely appalling, only attend if you want to be discriminated against. Staff are vile and willing to single people out, in this day and age, what for. Gonna lose majority of your custom if you don?t make people feel safe and welcome.

Absolutely vile. The landlord made it very clear LGBTQ+ members are not welcome. Would not recommend. With a thriving student community at edgehill, with a wonderful and fabulous enclusive environment. The landlord better learn his audience. Disgusting. ?

Disappointed that they say they are LGBTQ friendly yet the owner was rude and discriminatory to a friend of mine. Wouldn?t recommend as a safe space.

The owner is extremely rude and I wouldn?t recommend visiting if you are looking for friendly, inclusive service. The owner specifically singled out one of my friends within a group and made him feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable due to him being queer. It?s 2025, grow up or be quiet?

My girlfriend went to this pub this evening,, she was in here most of the night but left to go somewhere else, ended up coming back and was told by 1 door man to provide id, she did so, the man said the id was fake (it wasnt) gave her friends back to her but refused to give my girlfriends id back, after my girlfriend asked politely to have hers back because he gave it to her friend, another door man came outside and picked her up, and removed her from the area while the other cut up her id while laughing at her, several laws broken here including the data protection act as a legal document was destroyed by a third party and also the criminal damage act, as well as several SIA code of conduct breaches and both men involved deserve to have their SIA licenses removed and fired from the establishment
