Amazing experience and the food was outstanding. I arrived with no booking, the place was very busy but the staff couldn?t do enough to find a table and get us sat down. The staff went above and beyond. The food was on the offer menu, we had so much choice but the standard of the food was exceptional. My daughter had just had a baby and I was on route from the hospital. The beautiful lady brought a complimentary Prosecco to celebrate. Unbelievable kindness. It felt such a special evening. Thank you xx

My daughter had her birthday here tonight and on prior to this they said they would make her something up, yet alls she got was money took off her! Ridiculous this place and go somewhere different or the Burscough one, never the ormskirk one

Dietary restrictions: Coeliac friendly full separate menu and very knowledgeable would like a few more glutenfree vegetarian options.

Me and my husband booked for a date night and the Fat Italian did not disappoint!! We had a wonderful evening, the staff were exceptional, really attentive and friendly.
I?d recommend the white wine muscles, the sauce was to die for! The portions were really generous, even the starters. They also had a nice selection of desserts, i?d recommend the brownie :)
We had a lovely time, would come here again!

Service was great. Food was abysmal. Starters were okay.
Lamb shank was ordered and it didn't come out with the other mains. When it finally came out it wasn't a shank, it was dry and was about 4000 degrees. Clearly been blitzed in the microwave. It was around £24 on the menu, Nowhere near good enough. Steak was standard, and the majority ordered pasta dishes which were all bland and definitely not fresh pasta.
Ordered pints and each person was given two half pint glasses?
Used to be a great restaurant this but it seems standards have fallen off a cliff.

We had a great family Christmas meal here. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The duck, lamb and prawn pasta were all tasty and it's a great idea to add a glass of prosecco into the dessert choice because we were too full for pudding but the prosecco went down well! It's a pity this place isn't bigger but I would definitely recommend.
Parking: The car park is very dark and there are big potholes so be careful! Definitely need some lighting.
