We visit this establishment quite often and our experience is very good .. staff very friendly and welcoming and food is tasty and well presented.. overall a lovely cafe.

Wife and I tried The Edge for the first time during a visit to Ormskirk as we?d heard good things about it and it was great! Very good service and the food was excellent. We both had a steak baguette and mine was the best steak baguette I?ve had anywhere. Soft, warm baguette, tender steak, fried onions and mushrooms and topped with melted Stilton. It was simply divine and, accompanied by a BIG, strong pot of tea for two, was the perfect lunch! We are definitely going back the next time we are in Ormskirk.

Lovely little hideaway, great food and staff, my son is extremely fussy with food and ate everything including tasting the homemade soup I ordered for me (I have tried to get him to eat homemade soup for years and he?s always refused but he loved it) deffo be back soon, thanks again :-)
Kid-friendliness: Great with my son who has autism and very particular about his foods touching. Nothing was to much trouble.

Came for a baby shower and was amazed by the variety and quality of food! There was more than enough to eat and lots of leftovers which we were able to take home. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan options.
Dietary restrictions: Lactose intolerant food.

Just popped in to this wonderful cafe and spoilt ourselves with an Afternoon Tea?.Soup, sandwiches, scones and cakes!! Absolutely fantastic and needed a cake box to take home what we couldn?t eat!! Massive portions, great prices and really warm and welcome staff?Thankyou guys xA little bit too much sweet stuff (Perfect for the sugar lovers) bigger soup less cakes, keep the scones they were sublime!! Thats a personal thing though, your chef is amazing x

Ordered afternoon tea for my nieces 40th. Delivery on time.Was given a list of sandwiches one of which was salmon and cream cheese, this was replaced by tuna without any consultation.Also ham and coleslaw was on the list, this came with only ham. The sandwiches came in squares and the bread so thick with not much filling.The scones came ready made with cream and jam, although I?d said I wanted the cream and jam I did think it would be on the side. Scones very tasty and cakes lovely. The soup homemade and very good.Overall a nice afternoon tea but could have been so much better. Thinner bread, more filling and advised of a sandwich replacement. Better presentation without a doubt.
