Clean shop, lovely staff apart from 1. A young girl with dark hair is repeatedly rude and negligent. Everytime without fail when I come to pick my anti depressants prescription up she tells me it?s not there despite me explaining repeatedly that I have none left and need my prescription. Other staff members usually have to cut her off to check what medication I am picking up to which they realise it is urgent and make up my prescription whilst I wait. Her complete disregard and inability to fully do her job could be the difference between life and death for somebody!

Iv just noticed the previous few reviews whilst being on hold, and I wanted to add that I have used this pharmacy since moving and I can honestly say that the whole team here are nothing short of lovely.
They always go out of their way to help, in a friendly and understanding manner, every time I visit or call.
If they haven?t all my medications they always ensure I have some to tide me over.
This is always a very busy in demand pharmacy from my understanding and sometimes I think you just need to appreciate and be mindful just how many people rely on their service in the community.
My neighbours highly recommend them to me and in the last 2 years Iv had no problems at all??

Needed urgent antibiotics for my 91 year old Mother, prescribed by the hospital at 3am.
Drove from Ainsdale to this Rowlands because you can't get a hospital prescription anywhere else, and this is the only one that said it was open.
It says online that this one closes at 3pm. Kept ringing from 2pm to check if they had the antibiotics in stock, no answer.
Got to the store and it says on the sign that they close at 1pm!!!
Not impressed in the slightest, ?

Twice I?ve had to wait over a week for my prescription that was ordered online and confirmed by my GP yet they continued to blame the GP. I can?t trust them so I?ve moved my electronic prescription to another pharmacy

Poor communication or rapport with customers. Rude staff who accused customer of an error made by them with little concern for the possible consequences of their accusation. Luckily I don't live near here and my pharmacy is much better. However my daughter does and with a new baby will have to rely on them for a few years as this is the nearest pharmacy in the area. I hope things improve.Update. Rowlands responded and apologised to my daughter. Thankfully she has found another chemist not so far away.

If there was a 0 star rating I would have ticked.They now outsource some prescriptions. This is a practice that I was not familiar with it adds several days to a patients waiting time. When very important tablets are included in the prescription it's a very dangerous practice indeed.I will NOT be using this pharmacy again.

I don?t know why these guys have such a poor rating. They are always so incredibly helpful when I call and often bend over backwards to sort out any issues or special requests . 11/10 for customer service! Especially at such a terribly busy and stressful time for them during the pandemic they have been great.

Not sure if it is down to the staff or what, they seem nice enough. My partner has regular prescriptions. There is always an issue. They have the medication but cant find them, they have not received the prescription but the prescription service say they have. Its a shambles and has now become a running joke in our family on what they will come up with next. Sorry guys, but we are talking about essential medication that is needed, these errors should not occur.
