First of, night desk lady was amazing. But that's where it ended.
Average in every sense of the word, which is fine for what it is.
The beds were clean and comfy, extra pillows available - the carpets were not so, also only half the lights in the room had working bulbs. The noise from the AC and bathroom when used were fairly loud.
We had booked the breakfast at the beefeater next door, which was disappointing. Cheap sausage, unseasoned eggs, bad toast and not many continental or fruit options - bacon was good.
Hotel sans brekkie offered good value for money if you need a cheap quick comfy stay

The establishment was well-maintained and the staff provided excellent service. The beds were comfortable and conducive to a restful night's sleep. I would gladly patronize this establishment again in the future.

Stayed here to attend Edge Hill open day. Good location, very friendly helpful staff. Good parking and Beefeater next door was good. Knocked a star off due to very disturbed night with cars coming and going into the early hours and worse was a van unloading and banging doors at around 3am. Hardly slept all night. Would have mentioned at reception but nobody there when checked out. Its beyond the hotels control what goes on outside, hopefully it was a one off.

For us, this hotel is perfect, with our daughter at the nearby university. Well priced great sized rooms, which are very clean, well furnished & secure. The staff always excellent & the en suite perfect ( shower & bath ) with tea, coffee facilities, air con & tv.
