Absolute shambles of a pharmacy. Waited 45 minutes for a prescription that came in the day before. They told me 5 minutes. If my nan wasn?t so desperate for it I?d have given up waiting for it especially with a screaming 6 month old.Really poor excuse of a pharmacy

I was at the pharmacy yesterday to collect my medication, and I had a very good experience. The staffs were incredibly helpful and provided a great service.Considering how busy they were, they served me very quickly and took 20 minutes waiting time, which I find it very good as compared to other pharmacies which have longer waiting times

Morrisons pharmacy is by far the most poorly ran pharmacy I?ve ever dealt with. My mum?s medication is NEVER ready. Even when the prescription was sent several days before!!! Awful

I?ve thought long and hard about this post. I try to refrain from pointing out bad experiences and services, but frankly, the story below is the final straw for many a trip to Morrisons pharmacy in Ormskirk.I handed in a prescription (3 items) for an elderly family member who is very, very poorly. I was asked to come back the following day to collect, which I did. When I arrived the next morning it still wasn?t ready, so I waited for it to be made up as it was urgent. Eventually, I was advised that only 2 of the items were in stock, the 3rd needed to be ordered and could I come back again the following day after 11am to collect. Annoyed that it was t ordered yesterday and in my frustration, I agreed. I returned again the following day at 11am to be then told that the item is out of stock and cannot be ordered. For perspective, the item in question is an extremely powerful pain killer, that is a controlled drug for my elderly family member who is extremely poorly.I was then told that I can?t be given the prescription back because two items have been dispensed already. So firstly, why didn?t you check it was in stock when you told me to come back the following day? Secondly, why not have the courtesy to contact me in advance to let me know that it won?t be there when I make the journey to collect. It?s not exactly paracetamol that I?m picking up. Thirdly, this is now a Saturday. So I can?t even speak with the GP. It then took over 5 hours, contacting out of hours community care, social nursing, friends who work in the NHS and two trips to Southport hospice to resolve. All because they didn?t do the basic level of service. The upset and stress this caused is off the scale and they weren?t remotely bothered by the genuine, controlled feedback over the counter. I was that upset I spoke with the assistant store manager who responded with ?we get a lot of similar complaints about the pharmacy?. Well, here?s a thought? do something about it then. This is not the first time I?ve been to collect a prescription to be told it?s out of stock. This is basic stuff, if that?s the case you either need to a) return the prescription to the GP or b) ring the patient direct before they make the totally unnecessary journey. Twice recently I?ve had to go back to my GP and add to their workload and then go to other pharmacies all when it could have been totally avoided. This most recent occasion was ultimately the worst due to the type of medication needed and the final straw for a completely incompetent set-up. From the front, it looks completely unorganised with baskets of medication everywhere and no sensible working system. I will not be returning, my regular prescription is now going elsewhere as is that of my seriously ill family member, all because of basic customer service not being thought up.I must exonerate Stephen who works there from all of this. He is not responsible yet serves me each time with a smile.

Very poor stock, lady in-front of me was directed to aspire pharmacy and then they gave me the same advice. My sister is a GP and advised I needed eye drops, when attended the pharmacist told me to go to the GP (despite being able to purchase over the counter eye drops) when I advised it?s Saturday, he advised walk in. I disagree a simple problem should attend a hospital or walk in! Pharmacist should be helping people stay away from walk in?s and hospitals and treat what can be treated in the community!

Really really slow service. Pretty certain pharmacys are meant to be customer focused. Probably because they are within a big supermarket they are not too bothered. Really hope someone reads this and trys to improve on the service.

What happened to idea of having someone at the front to speak to customers. They just look at you without acknowledgement. Poor

Fancy wasting 20 minutes of your life on numerous occasions? Just queue at the counter of this place whilst there are loads of staff in the back. And they never have the prescription ready in advance. More waiting

Rude lady working there, been asked to pay for a prescription that is free in UK for all women, a prescription that has been sent there by GP. Now I have no medicine and need to call back GP to repeat my prescription and send it to a normal pharmacy where they know what they are doing!

Really rude with me and my husband. We have asked for Covid test and the response said we don't have and we don't know when. I had feeling that we did not like them as not usual customers. I had the feeling some kind of racism.

Very fast, convenient location. Meds are actually being checked before being handed over. Staff very friendly, and knowledgable.
