Decent local shop that is a huge upgrade on the scruffy Spa that used to be across the road.
For those who miss the pub, it was a terrible place (The Crying Shame) and there's an excellent Arthur's across the road (it's several strides to get there).

One of my pet hates is in small supermarkets, having to pack your own shopping. Not only that, but since covid you have big sheets of perspex, so the lazy young lad just watched me struggle to grab each item. Top service ?

Clean, bright, well-stocked and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and the queue at the staffed checkout is never long. There are 2 x self-service tills, if you prefer not dealing with a human ?

Outstanding staff who are very obliging. The shop is clean and bright and the food is very well organized and presented. Always enjoy going there. Actually it used to be a pub and I worked there as a barman before the Co-op took it oiver.

Really lovely shop with quality food BUT it's also a meeting place for hordes of kids. A shame really. Plus the shops food packaging is scattered around the vicinity and little attempt is made to pick this up.
