The old lady on self checkout with the black hair and glasses (I believe her name is Sheila) has a horrible attitude I only came here to get something for my tea and was greeted with poor customer service and talked to like an idiot. When scanning my shopping I noticed a discount sticker on one of my items since Sheila was next to me helping my sister on another till, I politely called her over for help where she then proceeded to talk to me like a child even though I had my university lanyard around my neck. I understand that some people can be stressed or going through something and if this is the case I hope it gets better but this should not be taken out on strangers.

Having shopped here since it opened over a decade ago really disappointed today. Only one manned checkout open with plenty of staff milling around. Worse only 3 of the self checkouts open and the one I used was malfunctioning and is pointless if you?re buying alcohol anyway as each item has to be authorised. It then asked me to remove item from bagging area and effectively would have charged me twice - presumably it didn?t allow for the weight of my freezer bag but supervising person too busy chatting to till person instead of attending to red lights on self checkout so I gave up and had to then queue for 10 minutes for manned checkout.

Just done my first food shop for uni, was fine until I got to the till and the woman serving me (till number 5590) was so unbelievably rude. Treated us like kids who didn?t know how to do anything, grabbed my shopping trolly and pulled it towards her whilst not even speaking to me. Didn?t say hello or anything. I laughed and smiled and she just looked at me with a rude expression on her face. Refused alcohol which is fine as my friends didn?t have ID( I did) but her attitude towards us about the alcohol was vile. Zero customer service at all. Not going to this Aldi again and would rather go to a further Aldi since this woman just made the experience horrible. A woman like that shouldn?t work in customer service, especially near a university when she knows students will be shopping there if she can?t find the time of day to smile at us. Was completely fine with the older shoppers, she was very condescending to us students.

Visited the Aldi store in Ormskirk today as it is situated in the corner of the two saints retail park, Mum and my Sister went their too.Had a look at some of the food and drink and the offers which they had, but unfortunately never seen anything today so will probably keep a look out on the internet and might see something next time.

Just done a food shop, the women on the till. Oh my god, I assume her login code is 5590? Abysmal customer care? with an attitude like that? if I could choose 0 stars I would just due to her attitude, grabbing my friends trolly and yanking it whilst she?s trying to put her shopping in? the way she spoke to one of us aswell due to only 2/3 of us having id (the person who didn?t have id didn?t even want to buy anything that required this, and she screams ?If you?re going to shop together at least try and hide it from us?? what are we trying to hide? I understand that it?s the law to ID? but it?s the way she spoke to us as students. And also she needs to wash her hands touching people items, she STUNK of cigarettes? my poor veg. How you as a company hire people like this is awful.I really hope she sees this and treats people with more care! Especially students as to the customers who were much older than us; she was polite. I wish I caught her name badge. Ashame she can?t even fake a smile.

Handy parking. After that, the shop is a bit hap hazard, most of the staff are nice if not too busy talking to each other on their devices.... They seem in a mad hurry to scan things through the till. I shop and pay at my pace, so by rushing you are slowing me down.

Always Aldi and lidl Always better value than other super markets.Even better now for a quick shop. Since most are now fitting self check outs.
