I visited AGE UK Lancashire (in Ormskirk) just before Christmas as part of my role with Alcedo Care to look at activities in the community that we could signpost our clients toward to support their independence and social experiences. Pam, the centre manager was so welcoming and clearly is so passionate about the work the centre does. On the day I visited there was a class in progress hosted by Carousel Music and Movement. Every one joined in, and it was wonderful to see people enjoying themselves and being able to express themselves through the music and dancing. I am really looking forward to revisiting the centre again in 2024 to see what else they have on offer that could be useful for our clients.
