Refused me from staying one night with a tiny tent, despite my needs were almost zero.

It's been almost a year since I moved onto the park and I have not regretted it for a moment. Great location combined with a well managed park makes it a delight to stay.

So, here I am in my beautiful static home, looking at the most beautifully maintained surroundings and thinking how lucky I am to have found such a hidden gem in wonderful Ormskirk.Abbey Farm is a place where people are welcomed, are able to achieve respite from the stresses and strains of modern life and are able to do so in safe, secure, manicured surroundings. It is a park of fantastic repute and therefore wholly worthy of a 5 star rating.

Went today but field is totally sodden. Total mud bath. Field should really be closed until it dries out. Now have to take dog for a groom?... And car clean. Otherwise the field is a good destination in better conditions ?

Best kept Northern secret. Set on lovely grounds and very well maintained by the team & theres also great fishing pond on site just big enough with many hours spent there.

Shame on you Katie, sounds like Dave has not given in to you and you've spat your dummy out. This is a fantastic sight, both Dave and Sandy are accommodating to everyone on sight. I love it here. I for one don't want my caravan damaged by children riding round it, especially as there is a huge recreation area for them to play in, my grandchildren spend hours down there, playing football or on the play park. I'm sure you would be the first to complain Katie, if the grass wasn't cut and the place was a muddy mess. Oh well I guess you will be moving off, which is your loss and a bonus for someone who wants a seasonal pitch on a family friendly site.

Sorry Katie to intrupt your nasty review about Dave. Unfortunately my children have Learning difficulties and I?ve given permission for Dave to tell my son off and explain his actions if it?s needed. We all personally agree with Dave regarding cars off the grass so all the children feel safe and can play without us parents being worried. Going from 99.9 of seasonal people the grounds are absolutely immaculate and if that means him doing his job on Saturday morning may that continue. Harrison leisure should be proud to have sandy and Dave as wardens. Probably your the one who sits outside waiting to capture a big moan. Keep up the good work Dave we all appreciate your hard work.? . Can?t believe some people think that running a caravan park is a Monday to Friday job !!!!! And yes it was my boy that could of got knocked down on his bike.!!! . From your review your a seasonal so I?ll open the barrier for you and wave you on your way. So many people have left the campsite???????? I?m a tourer and never seen the campsite so busy with seasonal caravans . I love this site so much me and the family will be seasonal next year.

Very clean and professionally run site, has everything you need and more, an oasis in the countryside yet only a walk away from civilisation, a pub, shops and supermarket. It is a very friendly site and nothing is any trouble, will definitely be back.

We stayed here for the weekend, my daughter loved the play area and the games room. Only a short walk to pub and shops to if you want to go off site. The site and the pitches are very well layed out and very clean and tidy to. We will definitely stay again.
